Once again, why raise the terror level AFTER the arrests?
I think air travelers who flew during that 5 day period (between the alleged plot discovery and the arrests) would have appreciated a warning.

Um - I'm sure the staff knew.
They did not want to tip them off. Have you got this now? Would you have prefered they tip them off and give them time to escape? It's like - if the police want to raid a crack house - they should have the receptionist/911 operator(hehe) make a courtesy call first? |

"Um - I'm sure the staff knew."
And you know this how? You would trust the staff with your life?
I wouldn't.
"Would you have prefered they tip them off and give them time to escape?
I'd prefer to get a warning as soon as the plot was discovered.
What's the point of having a warning system if you aren't going to warn people until AFTER the alleged perps are caught?

LOL! The Blitzkrieg is upon Beirut, but we are supposed to imagine that little Nazis are flying over OUR heads.
Don't be complacent. Look out your windows. Keep an eye out. Don't forget to cast a nervous glance over your shoulder. Take notes. Tell the government everything. Root out the evil within. Question your own motives. Telephone the terrorist hotline if you suspect yourself of possessing the slightest nihilistic impulse.
Oh---and do try to go about your daily life as normal.

Aren't you the same guy that posted this?:
"If Blair was in discussions with Bush over the weekend about an “imminent” terrorist attack, why did he still leave for his holiday in Barbados on Tuesday? And given that the plot is said to have targeted planes, why did the security services allow him to do so?
And if the threat posed by the plot was considered dangerous enough to warrant raising the terror alert in the UK from “severe” to “critical” and to code red in the US, why were no arrests made for five days? And why was the terror alert only raised after the arrests were made and not before?"
