rolling who For all you football morons dissing baseball and pogo-sticking around the room on your hard-ons because football and its gambling, fantasy leagues (started by baseball), gambling, thugs, dog-killers, criminal, gambling and, most importantly, STEROIDS and HGH-USING PLAYERS!!! are right around the corner -- take a look in the mirror.

AT LEAST 90 PERCENT OF THE NFL IS ON PERFORMANCE-ENHANCERS. GET OFF YOUR HIGH HORSE.

THE NFL IS A JOKE.

robpop Did Bonds cheat? Who the fuck cares. I don't. Seriously. Major League Baseball is a joke. It has much larger problems than Bonds. I have played the game for over half my life and I can't stand to watch it now.

I hope the Yankees win every World Series for the next 20 years. Maybe that will be the only way MLB will wake up and follow in the footsteps of the NFL.

I wish that fucker was shootin' that juice in his gluteus maximus while he was here. Maybe just maybe we would have beat the Braves.

Andy van Slyke sitting in the outfield for like 30 minutes is my memory. I'll admit, it was the first time I cried regarding baseball - we had it all, Bonds, Bonilla, Drabek, Lind, van Slyke, Leyland. Beautiful team. I think I got intoxicated and trashed my neighbor's mailbox to avenge the tragedy.

Dude, I was at my buddy's apartment down in Oakland watching that game. After the winning run scored I threw an empty bottle of beer through his window. Before, I could say I was sorry, he threw one through another window. Its a Burgh thing.

Do you still have any family in the area? The Oakland, Squirrel Hill area was hit pretty hard by the storms today. Pittsburgh, Allegeheny County under a State of Emergency. The funny thing is one of the lead stories on the local news was that Steelers training camp practice was moved indoors. Fuck, some have lost their homes, but they still have the Steelers.

wasted This is America! You're innocent until proven guilty, and Barry Bonds hasn't been proven guilty of anything yet!" If I had a dollar for every time I've heard that ridiculous defense"

Absolutely true. There's plenty of circumstanial evidence that Bonds was on steriods. It's also ridiculous that the media and the guys over at ESPN never bring up the fact that when MLB first started testing for steriods over 100 major league baseball players tested positive (a test which BONDS passed by the way). So if over 100 major league players couln't pass a test which BONDS the poster boy, the face of STERIODS, passed, how many more are there??? Seems to me there is a big difference between circumstantial evidence and someone actually testing positve for steriod use. My guess is this story has been so buried by the news media not that many are aware of it as opposed to the umpteenth newscast or article by ESPN about Bonds possible steriod use. Also, with the coverage Bonds has been getting from ESPN and other sports media outlets nationwide, wonder how many major league baseball players had the good sense to discontinue their steriod use after BALCO broke and MLB announced in advance they would start testing???? My guess it was a good number among which appears to be BONDS himself as he passed a test which over 100 failed. How many are we talking about???? A good conservative guess would be three to four hundred and this is only taking into account or consideration current major league baseball players. This is not taking into consideration the hundreds of former MLB basebal players.

Yet the good folks at ESPN or other sports outlets nationwide do not want any of this brought up and lord knows Bud Selig doesn't want hundreds of names out there. Potenially it could destroy the game. With the baseball TV contracts out there, lets just say it's much easier to get together and have 5 to 6 scapegoated. You know create a media myth. You know the one about the 5 or 6 oversized sluggers taking steriods ruining the game. The CHEATERS. Wasn't Bud Selig a used car salesman???? You what is ridiculous???? People are actually buying into that media myth. The other hundreds who used as much or probably more steriods than Bonds???? I know don't let the truth get in the way of a good story. It's easier and much more satisfying to lay all the blame on BONDS. He's not a good human being and he's an easy target.

Bud sounds like a good plan. It appears to be working and is minimizing the damage. With all the media focused in on Bonds, it could work. BONDS IS A CHEATER (and the other 400-500 CHEATERS try not to think too much)

gimmekeef Cowher to Cleveland has always been a rumor...Washington or the Giants too...My guess is he opts for the NFC and ends up a few miles from his house in Charlotte replacing Fox after another down year by the Panthers...Owner there has deep pockets and Cowher could commute a lot from his home......
But he'll be on every fired coaches teams wish list in 2008/09

I've heard all those rumors. Just hearing Cleveland mentioned is a shock to any Steeler fan. Shit, just hearing any team mentioned is. There has never been a coach who quit here and coached somewhere else in my lifetime. I don't know where he will end up at, but the truth is he did not leave on good terms with Pittsburgh's new management. He did not get along with Art Rooney Jr. Cowher leaving Pittsburgh was a good thing for both parties.
