No I mean it, that's just how I am, and your reaction is just how you are. I am entitled to have my views right? I just don't have your confidence about how they'll sound, not after most of the mediocre 2003 shows I saw. But I hope they'll sound fantastic of course! Just don't want to get disappointed again, my old Stones heart can't take that .

Anyway, this setlist sure is wonderful, no doubt about it!

Riffhard RJ was the opener.

By all accounts the Stones are sounding like a well oiled machine. Reports from the rehersals have been very positve. Angie dear I was just razzing you a little that's all!

Riffhard I'm just tryin' to wrap my brain around the fact that Jagger sang GUSU!! "We're sick and tired of the bullshit game. You die and go to heaven in Lord Jesus name. We know and we understand that mighty Jah is living man! You can fool some people sometime, but cha can't fool all the people all of the time! So now we've seen the light. Stand up for your rights!" That is infuckingsane!!!

Monkey Woman Does that sound like someone we know? ? ?

OTIS REDDING lyrics - "Mr. Pitiful"

They call me Mr. Pitiful
Baby thats my name now
They call me Mr. Pitiful Thats how I got my fame

But people just don`t seem to understand
How someone can feel so blue
They call me Mr pitiful cause I lost someone just like you.

The call me Mr. Pitiful
This everybody know now
They call me Mr. Pitiful Most everyplace I go.

But nobody seems to understand now,
How can a man sing such a sad song
When he lost everything that he had.

How can I explain to you
How somebody con get so very blue
How can I tell you about my past
If all things won`t end.

Mr. Pitiful
Thats my name now
They call me Mr. Pitiful Thats how I got my fame

But nobody seems to understand
what make a man can feel so very blue
They call me Mr. Pitiful cause I m in love with you

Can I explain to you
Everything is going wrong
I`ve lost everything i had
I have to sing this sad song
To get back to her
And I m gonna sing this song to you
And i want you
And I want you
And I want you
And I want you
[And I wanna tell you everything is going through my mind]
And I want to sing
And I want to sing
And I want to sing
And I want to sing this song with you
[And I wanna sing this song to everyone]
Cause I want them to understand what I talkin about
I want you to understand what I`m sayin......

time is on my side GREAT SETLIST!!!

Just wish they would keep this kind of setlist when they go on the road. They can even improve on it as the setlist will be longer. Keep four or five WARHORSES AND then mix it up & take chances like they did tonight.

WON'T HAPPEN BUT, UNLIKE JB'S FANTASIES, IT'S A GOOD ONE
August 10th, 2005 11:05 PM
nankerphelge LOL!
That's great!

Man what an incredible selection of songs.

August 10th, 2005 11:05 PM

19th Nervous Breakdown---completely different version--much more of a rhythm and blues feel [/b]
She's So Cold
Dead Flowers
Back of My Hand---Mick was awesome--Mick and Ronnie traded off on slide guitars--Ronnie patted Mick on the back at the end-
