I have finally accepted that there will be no return to the US anytime soon.
If Atlantic City was my last show, then I have to be grateful for 32 years!
Anyone interested in a support group, please PM/email me.

Even if they did return to the US and you rejoined, you'll have lost nothing by not doing so now. If youre going to a show in a major market (the recent London ticket fiasco being an example), having what turns out to have been a Legacy code (or even a Platinum code) pretty much gives you no advantage at all.
There are tickets available for the 02 shows NOW that are better than what we were offered with Meg's legacy code which she had hung on to unused for almost a year - even though we both sat on TM the second they went on sale and hit 'refresh' for an hour. I got tickets for the other 2 shows (2 each time) with a platinum code and was never offered anything on the floor. We got good tiered seats in the section nearest the side of the stage, but they held back seats in the front two blocks on the floor for quite some time.
Unlike 2006, they did away with the £60/$99 offers in the front ten rows and kept them for corporate attendees and Fan Asylum-style packages which meant you could only get a ticket if you were willing to buy a package what was actually about ten times the 'official' price of a Category A ticket. I think you can more or less expect something similar - especially for arena shows - in shows in 'A' markets in the future.

Good for you, LJ! I've yet to pay for membership in RS.con! Now take that hundred bucks and put it towards a plane ticket to London, will ya?

Next step 'll be Ticketmaster Auction for the best seats (if the Stones 'll tour again )

The only time I found the fan club membership useful was when I was offered a theatre ticket up front along with it.

RS.com sent me an email today saying my membership auto renewed. I dont mind spending $100, it's paid off for me because of my close to NYC location. I got into the movie Threatre gigs in NYC for free, including R&R Circus movie and pre-party, including a goody bag with great Stones stuff, free food and open bar. Also 4 tikets for the Rio show sneak preview for the movie, or whatever they called it last year. Both events were at the Regent Theatre.
I love the Virtual Ticket section at RS.com, and the archives are loaded with Stones data. I always go back and check set lists when my memory goes blank, lol, or watch a video at 4 AM if I cant sleep.
The passcode's were good in the beginning of the tour, for hard to get venues like MSG. I got floor seats that were never available on TM as far as I could tell. This year remains to be seen, but if there are any theatre gigs, hopefully the membership will mean something for movie premieres, hopefully Shine A Light. We'll see, but The Stones arent finished yet! Maybe no more grand scale tours, but I bet they do some events and make some appearances. NYC is always a possibility IMO.

They'll hardly just do NYC if theyre not doing anywhere else, lets face it.
Theatre shows? well, thats why we all bought them in the first place and look how THAT panned out
Incidentally, for the 2 MSG shows in January 2006, I got 2 tickets with the $100 rs.com membership for the first night and the exact same seats but two rows back with a free AmeriQuest passcode for the second night.

whenever I get Stones Fan Club withdrawals, I just walk into one of those cheap touristy t-shirt & hat shops in Times Square, buy a baseball cap and leave a hundred dollar bill on the counter just so I can recapture a bit of that extra special used feeling you only get with RS.con

I do the same, but I ask them to send the baseball cap on to me and then I get it about 18 months later...
