rogerriffin Whats the meaning of:

"DIFTK" ???

26th July 2006 07:30 PM
time is on my side Good to see Atlanta finally making it on the board. I was beginning to wonder if they were going to pass over the southeast all together. Where's the $$$$$ in doing something like that?? Right now it's being rumoured for October 25th at TURNER FIELD.

My birthday is the day before so it looks like a Birthday Bash with the STONES may be in the offering.

I think the STONES like Atlanta

This is true. Its also one of the reasons why there were so few world title fights in the place from the 80's on.

They also charge a fee if youre recording anything there. I was reading the sleevenotes for the CD reissue of Bowie's "Stage" album and it mentions that they had intended to record it at MSG, but that the venue charged massive fees for recording AND demanded an obligatory royalty! So, they recorded the album in Philly, Boston and Providence instead

Jesus, Gazza...your mind is compressed with some useless, BUT KNOWLEDGABLE, stuff!

I'm most impressed

Black and Blue Wut are the chances of the edmonton Alberta show actually happening if its posted as rumoured at IORR?
28th July 2006 05:22 AM
Gazza Its only "rumoured" because its not officially confirmed as of now. It was on the original list of scheduled dates leaked last week, so going by how accurate the list of confirmed dates were, normally I'd say its pretty certain

The only fly in the ointment however is that theres another source which has a 2nd Beacon show on that date. My personal guess is its more likely to be Edmonton
