See that. You never would've guessed alot of things. Oooooh, the Dead Milk Men, the eels....come on pdog those bands are kids bands compared to our Dead Boys.

I love The Dead Boys. I can throw a rock and hit Stiv Bators house where he grew up. Just two streets over. I knew him when I was a kid. Well, my dad did for the most part. He worked with him.

Young, Loud, and Snotty is, IMO the best damn punk album of all time.

If you want to listen to a REAL punk band, not any of this Green-day pop-punk (although I do like Greenday to a point), not most of the pretender punk bands of the seventies, step up boys and girls and get hard-core with the Dead Boys.

I have Young, Loud, and Snotty all autographed by the whole band from back in the day. You should see what they wrote to my dad. Things like Cheeta wrote "Ron, cumming for your children like a mutherfucker" lol pretty crazy huh.

Oh yeah, How can I forget, I should of included The Stooges in there. Probably more than CCR....I don't know. Their so uncomparable. Kinda like a Great Piece of cold Chocolate pie vs. a great piece of warm Pizza....how do you compare the two? I gotta say I like Iggy more though I had to choose. Remember pdog, Mrs. Argentina loves you, although she hides behind her smile.

lists of 'bands' that include solo artists, are even more stupid

Most of my favourite artists are solo acts (probably about 7 or 8 out of my top 10). The Stones are by a fucking mile the only band thats meant anything. If you pushed me to name four others I like, I'd say The Beatles, The Who, The Clash and The Doors, but its no contest really.

Solo - Dylan and Springsteen would be about even, and I like them both and the Stones all about the same.
Elvis, Johnny Cash and Neil Young would be just below that.

Steve Earle and Lucinda Williams would be in my "top 10" acts as well.
