Bill Clinton is one of the most effective presidents we've ever had.
He was instrumental in giving congress to the republicans for the first time in 40 years!! It only took two years and he scared the shit out of America so bad the voters put him in a GOP Lock Box. Thus keeping him and his Stalinist wife from destroying the economy by socializing health care.

I was listening to Rush about 3 years ago or so and durring Clintons testimony, he said "I don't know" or "I can't recall" 46 times in a 3 hour period. Rush's staff put it all together in a sound byte. Back to back "I don't knows", that was so funny! Lasted for about 3 mins.
There was 1 "I don't know" followed by "It could of been Chocolate"
Refering to the gifts he bought Monica.

I'll admit I've never heard much of his radio show but I used to get the Limbaugh Letter mailed to me and it was jam packed with jokes and parody's. I can tell right away when someone calls him a hate filled wind bag that they have never heard or read much of him. He can be funny as shit and loves rock and roll. Just like us. Actually John Wilkes Boothe wasn't a Democrat...he was a Confederate...a rebel. The Confederacy didn't have any political parties.
Read your history. Abe Lincoln only freed the slaves in the states that were in rebellion. He didn't free the slaves that were in bondage in say....Kentucky, or Maryland, or Missouri, or Delaware. No he freed slaves that were in territory that he didn't have any control over...at least he didn't have any control over it in 1862. Why? Because he would never have gotten re-elected, and he would have lost the Border States to the Confederacy. In other words, it was just politically expediant to do it that way. He didn't do it for the slaves...he did it for political clout. Typically Republican, I grant him that.
I'm telling you man, don't fuck with me on this particular part of American history. I own about 500 books on the subject or the American Civil War...and I've read 'em all. This is a subject I KNOW about. |

I saw Clinton speaking on the subject of the economy and America's place in the world on C-Span the other night. It was a speech from the JFK library. I'd almost forgotten what an intelligent politician sounds like.
So, all of you red-blooded Republicans - what did you think of your boy's comment about the needless deaths of the troops HE put in harm's way: "Bring it ON!" Callous insensitivity to the families of the dead soldiers or simply another example of his absolute cluelessness?
I'm not going to waste my breath arguing with the Republicans here. Are you guys in the top 1% tax bracket? Own stock in Halliburton? Those are the ONLY people I could understand supporting the fucking nitwit who's running things now.
I'm not the guy to argue politics point by point. I view it on a personal level.
