And Vegas is quite good too as far as the concerts go. I'm not sure you'd want to spend too much time there though. Josh is right about one thing though: Avoid the dull Midwest at all costs. |

One of my favorite cities to catch a show is Nashville TN. It's a great party town with a down-home feel, plus they always seem to throw those great country flavored tunes out there. Licks had Sweet Virginia and BTB tour they did the only U.S version of Far Away Eyes. |

Cleveland-kicked ass/kicks ass 94 good, 2k2 amazing best of the tour....
Columbus-97 good, 99 fair, 2k2 fair
Detroit-97 fair
Char, NC-99 Very good |

you're right on about Columbus.
I saw all three of those shows - and your reviews are perfect. the 99 one was the best i saw on the tour - no doubt about it. hot hot hot. college town, too. that always helps.

and oh yeah - Charlotte - my beloved home town (i miss you darling)... Both shows in Charlotte since '72 (97 and 99) were fucking awesome. anyone who was at either would tell you the same. in fact - Ericsson Stadium may be the most exciting concert i've ever seen (non Phish). The city was so damn jazzed up to see the band ... then 99 was like dessert. if the boys schedule a date in the Queen City this time aroud, i'll be flying back home for it, no doubt.

I like Toronto, so much that I lived there for a year, '99 - 2000 saw loads of great bands at all the major venues.I really liked that Molson ampithatre on the lake front. Nothing like that t all in the UK.
I think i'd like to try somewhere new though, somewhere I've never visited. Somewhere that ROCKS! |

I saw two shows there in 2002. I thought the crowd at Staples was very tame and laid back. Maybe they were weighed down by all the Hallowe'en costumes. Anaheim two days later was much better for some reason.

If this is true and the stones don't come to the UK til 2006, i might have to think about doin the same. |

I think they'll be in the UK in late 2005
But then of course Wembley Stadium re-opens in May 2006!
Maybe we'll get a return visit then! |
