It wasnt without its fuck ups. They got out of sync on both Brown Sugar and Jumpin Jack Flash, but recovered well. WE noticed, but the general crowd had not a clue. High point - Ronnie's solo on CYHMK. One word - MAGNIFICENT

Magnificent - and the best crowd I've EVER seen. Talked to lotsa young people after and they were blowna way. Keith was terrific. None of the Werchter problems were in evidence tonight. Brilliant show.

They should. This appears to be from 2003, according to some posts over on IORR. Looks like they didnt get the Stones permission to play IOW songs after all, and we're getting treated to Live Licks material, without Virgin owning up to it.
I'd a feeling the Stones would put some block on their performance being aired.

Theyve now played 4 songs which were played tonight and which all feature on Live Licks. (All I can say is thank fuck they didnt play Rocks Off tonight, then the game REALLY would have been up!)
Virgin arent actually saying its from IOW - then again theyre not saying it isnt either. |

Well living up the road has its advantages,home already.
That was superb,they had the crowd eating out of their hands,even the ''stones sceptics'' i know were blown away.
Would have prefered Happy to Slipping Away,but i'm not complaining.
