..I never accepted his offer which is essential to form a binding contract...also, there was no consideration , and therefore, no binding oral contract...Moreover, the show is not sold out.
June 28th, 2005 11:30 AM
glencar A bet isn't a contract, dippy.

Betting is illegal....and I never accepted his bet. Moreover, the show is not sold out. Wait for the post-sales to amazingly appear...

GimmeExile jb, pay the man! You stated that your "sources" said there was low interest in the Hollywood Bowl. You said "non-sellout" Technically, there are always tickets held back for every show that is sold out (you think all those U2 shows are sold out according to your new standard?). For all practical purposes, one can't buy a ticket to see the Stones at the Hollywood Bowl at this time. Will tickets be released? Yes, just as they are for every show that is sold out (even the Tower/Wiltern/Aragon sold out shows released tickets).

I hope you agree that you should pay mac_daddy. He won the bet. I mean, c'mon, you didn't really think that one of most famous venues in the world in one of the largest U.S. cities would not sell out?
June 28th, 2005 02:04 PM
glencar Pay up, Joshy!
June 28th, 2005 02:05 PM
Nellcote How much should he pay?
June 28th, 2005 02:17 PM
GimmeExile The best was for $100.
June 28th, 2005 02:23 PM
doo doo doo Dude jb, you are playing right into the "jew" stereotype. I suggest you pay up to avoid racial slurs from BILL PERKS.

There are thousands of tickets on 'Hold"..and another post-sale to come-it is not sold out!!!
June 28th, 2005 02:41 PM
Saint Sway wow! I cant believe he's trying to weasle out of a $100 bet!!

if you can't cover a bet that small, you really are in no position to be making bets in the first place

thats pathetic

fact is the show sold out. Sure they held back tix. They always do. Even still, you know those will sell out when they're released.

quit trying to squirm out of it and pay the guy already. At this point, you're only embarrassing yourself.
June 28th, 2005 02:44 PM
Nellcote Let Judge Judy decide...
June 28th, 2005 02:50 PM
Dan I have better sources than you, and it is "sold out" even though there are tickets held back for the post sale scam, those too will sell out.
June 28th, 2005 03:05 PM
telecaster jb pay the man

You lost
