Yes you can, follow this excellent guide:

That graph doesn't prove that the source is mp3, it only shows that there's nothing above about 11k. The link that gonzalo put up is a good intro to this problem but note that even there they state that mp3's are cut off about the 17-19k mark. I do a lot of audio editing with cooleditpro2 & have noticed that all my mp3's cut off about the 16k mark, wma's on the other hand go all the way up to 19k before the cut off.
There are several ways to get that cut-off @ 11k. One would be with an equaliser, altho why you'd chop the top part off I don't know, another would be if the recording was made from a radio/reciever whose top limit was 11k, or if the staion broadcasting the signal had a top limit of 11k. Fm radio typically broadcasts between 50-15k, I believe it's to do with the bandwidth available on the fm band altho I'm not too up on that.
Having said all of this, yes, the files could be mp3 sourced, but that graph doesn't prove it, particularly with that 11k cut-off point. |

Anyway still interested. I am downloading it now.
Thanks MRD8.

its an updated version of "25 x 5" made for ARTE (a French and German channel)by the renowned Austrian (?) Stones historians and documentary makers Rudi Dolezal & Hannes Rossacher (DoRo Productions) and broadcast on 14 July 2002 to mark the Stones' 40th anniversary which fell two days earlier.
It was never shown anywhere else, although this is presumably the (unbroadcast) English language version which has got into circulation. Its almost 3 hours long and I cant recommend it highly enough. Unquestionably, the greatest Stones documentary of all time.
Its worth downloading for the opening "Jumpin Jack Flash" montage alone - which sums up everything the Stones are and will ever be in about 4 or 5 glorious minutes. |

I have no doubt that it's MP3 but if you want more proves take a look at the Spectral analysis of the same track 01.
http://img95.imageshack.us/img95/1508/track014yd.png
Look for areas where it looks like there are unnatural lines or areas blocked out. A conventional recording should show little or no area that is completely black.
Anyway, I think you noticed the micro silence gap between the songs, that is a classic example of an MP3 source that was decoded to a lossless format.

Because of the "file reallocation error" problem.
The problem is the authoring program that Bob or his friend use to make the menus. This time I had no luck in reallocating the files again, Shrink couldn't do it so I had to re-authored with a working VGM and VTS menu.
VGM menu:

I used Nero Recode to get around the "file reallocation error" and it worked fine.

It's good to know that Nero Recode can solve this "file reallocation error" thing.
Anyway, because the original VTS menu does not have the titles on each chapter, I decided to reauthored it.
