My gosh, you might be right about this one! Never saw it before.
I was an MTV junkie in junior high school in the early eighties - how did I miss this video?
It's so raw and stripped down. Imagine if the Stones would still do this kind of shit again. Well, I suppose the "small stage" bits of recent tours kind of count, but they lose points for requiring Chuck there. |

I'm surprised Bill hasn't been erased from this video, as was done on the Rarities cover.
I really wish the Stones would release all these. |

Great video, great year and tour for the Stones. I still go back to listening "Handsome girls" and I do believe that is the best "rock and roll" cds from the stones. They are wild and they play badass rock and roll. I fucking love it! Have you notice in the respectable video that Bill actually moves, one could almost say that, he dances. That is a first!

They started with "Johnny Be Goode"????
Not "Let It Rock"?
Are you sure?
I guess I could go check Gazza's setlist pages, but this is easier.

Brilliant!
Keith - a god amongst men..
Why wasn't this released on Video Rewind? |

They definitely opened with "Let It Rock," I'm sure Nellcote is just mistaken.

I do too, the problem is (and I wasn't aware of this until recently buying Bowie's video anthology) the Stones most likely do not own the copyrights to many of their videos. I was looking through the booklet for Bowie's anthology and the copyrights to many of the videos belong to various television shows and record companies, not Bowie himself; I would imagine the same would apply to the Stones. The Stones have a LOT of videos, and an anthology would be very costly and a hassle. |

YES!!!!!!!!!!
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
...now I'm sleepy..........
Here they are at what I consider to be one of their greatest periods ever! Keith's guitar was soooooooooo cool! Jagger's vocals, all snarly and spiteful...
and if you really dig into the song, Bill's playing is really quite good, -I continue to believe his absence has been a significant detriment to the Stone's sound since his departure - he and Charlie were such an amazing 1-2 punch, all overlayered by Keith's fantastic riffing.
Hot damn they was a hot band in those days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(and sexy as all hell...oh yes indeeeeedeeeeeeeeee!------>) |

Best Stones Video: We Love You
not technically a "music video" but still great nonetheless.
They should play this song live it would be great, especially with a little improv. |

I like that one Stones video for "Honky Tonk Women(FattyFatty2x4 Remix)". I don't usually go for remixes, but this one is "special".
I'm sure we all remember this one...right?

I'm speechless after watching this one. The most embarassing one EVER for Mick, for sure. Even more so than Dancing In The Streets with david bowie.
Groovy tune, though, most definitely. |
