Exhile on Main Street the second best Rock album of all time................
it has to be second best cause it's pure rock n roll and Rock n Roll can't have a # 1 album that would defeat the purpose. Only Pop can have a # 1, and that would be Sgrt Peckers Lonely Farts Club Fan. |

It's impossible for me to pick one. If Beggar's Banquet didn't have "Street Fighting Man" on it, I'd say that Let It Bleed is the best, but since it does I'd have to pick three in this order:
Beggar's Banquet
Let It Bleed
Exile On Main Street
EDIT: Changed my mind. Make it four:
Beggar's Banquet
Let It Bleed
Sticky Fingers
Exile On Main Street

Really, really tough to choose, but even though it's the consensus choice, I have to go with Exile. Close calls are obviously LIB, BB, TY, and the undermentioned Some Girls. My #2 choice would actually be Sticky Fingers, which surpirsingly hasn't gotten a mention (if my recollection is correct).

I used to think it was Sticky Fingers
However, Exile on Main St. is a stronger album, but harder to get into... Once you "understand" it you just cant get enough...
Exile is the Best |

rolling who |
1. 'Let it Bleed' -- an absolute monster
2. 'Beggar's Banquet' -- Keith's most expressive acousting playing
3. 'Some Girls' -- a snarling, punkish masterpiece
4. 'Sticky Fingers' -- almost a greatest hits album
5. 'Exile on Main St.' -- cursed by the double-album problem of too many ordinary tracks |

You serious? Wow, that takes some balls to admit that ER is your FAVORITE! I love the album myself and think tracks like Down In The Hole and All About You and Where The Boys Go are among their underrated best, but I wouldn't rate it their best.
But YOU GO, Some Guy! |

get back in class -
TOTR should be debuted in Barcelona, it sews the third half of the album together.
BTW - best album is obviously Black 'n' Blue.... |
