sirmoonie Scott Weiland had all the makings of a great front man, but everyone got so caught up in how much partying he was doing. What the hell happened to rock and roll?

I have seen plenty of tribute bands I enjoyed more than the real thing. Usually because a friend was playing and I got in for free but I am sure I could come up with some more examples. One of them sure as hell wouldn't be the GNR Rose Bowl 1992 show.

Soldatti Is Buckethead still on this silly GNR's line up?
4th May 2006 08:04 PM
gotdablouse No and it's too bad 'cause that guy is a wicked guitar player, out of this world...unlike say Ronnie !

That beats the Bon Jovi/Stones bill in 95 in Paris, right Gazza ;-)

No one really has a clue who is in the band - we will find out when the tour kicks off next week.

PeerQueer Replies:

STP was a great band.

No Slash No GNR.

Buckethead better than Ronnie...

fer fucksakes!

Yeah, and Insane Clown Posse is better than the Stones!

Some of you in here are fucking pathetic.

Dan saw STP once it was boring

no time machine no GNR

Brent Muscat with a KFC Bucket on his head at an Adlers Appetite show is more entertaining than Buckethead

Slipknot is better than Insane Clown Posse

Gazza supposedly GnR will be playing a 90 minute long opening set at the Stones shows (according to a German radio report quoted on IORR) - as AC DC did 3 years ago

DustīnīBones and 14 Years, two amazing songs. He has a very good voice. By the way, where is he? Touring, recording, recluse?

Izzy wrote the best songs. Izzy is apparently happy being a recluse out in the sticks, he has recorded music but has never even made an attempt at a high profile career.

lotsajizz beg to differ

Saint Sway ya know Sir Mick is gonna bring W. Axl out for a song. Just fer the PR.

too bad it wont be SOTE again. Probably Wild Horses. GNR used to cover it and it is the set default song this tour for guest spots (Ed Vedder, William Hung...)

I hope not. GnR's cover was the worst thing I heard from anybody ever covering the Stones. Should have left that one alone.
