Ten Thousand Motels ELIZABETH TAYLOR 'CLOSE TO DEATH'

Hollywood legend ELIZABETH TAYLOR is reportedly on the brink of death after her heart began to fail. Sources say the Oscar winner, 74, is bedridden in her Bel Air, California, home. After learning her health is deteriorating, Taylor reportedly cancelled her annual Easter party and has begun planning her funeral - she is expected to be buried next to her former husband RICHARD BURTON in Switzerland. A friend says, "Liz is inching closer to death every day and she knows it. It is not a pretty picture. "She's not leaving a lot of money to her children. She wants the bulk of her fortune to go to AIDS research."

27th April 2006 12:01 PM
Nellcote I'd thought she would've wanted the bulk of her foturne to go to her sometimes companion, Wacko Jacko.
Wonder if the Princes in Bahrain will let him return for her funeral?

kath elizabeth taylor was and still is a spectacular woman of beauty, wisdom, talent and compassion. if this is indeed true, i, for one, would be very sad. she has shown class and dignity all her life. and as for her talent not being evident since national velevet, that;s just rubbish! she made many wonderful movies and showed her ability to play many types of roles. and her generosity for AIDS research alone should place her among the highest of all the angels.

TampabayStone I liked Cat on the Hot Tin Roof. Never saw Cleopatra though.

kath anybody who ever saw "GIANT" would understand what a specatacularly beautiful, talented, wonderful woman she is. her relationship with jacko notwithstanding, this will be a terrible loss. i've not seen anything about it on the news sites, so perhaps just another close call. she's survived so many horrible tragedies and illnesses.

Yes, She was a beauty back in her day! I always thought the contrast of her dark hair and light eyes was stunning! Her help in Aids Research is very noble.

Reptile I couldn't care less if she died. But she is a fasinating woman, with all that glitter and glamour. But she's become a barrel of toxic waste over the last 40 years. If she dies, rest in peice, if she doesn't, PLEASE rest in peace too.

FPM C10 Cleopatra's sucky. "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolfe" is the shiznit. I liked "Suddenly Last Summer" and "Cat On A Hot Tin Roof" too, so I guess that's enough great movies to redeem her less-than-stellar stuff.

There are NO actors who haven't done some crapola to pay the bills.

She's far from my favorite actress, and is remembered more for her days as a media whore. But there have been, and still are, far worse ones. At least she had a modicum of talent to begin with.

gimmekeef Joey..where'd ya get that pic of the "schlitzies"?..from Freaks??....lmao.....
