Riffhard LOL! That is a very funny video but,it could have been made in any country. Selective editing is wonderful thing.

pdog People are pretty stupid, I'm sure alot of folks got this stuff right... I've met people like these folks, so hopefully we have an equal amount of smart people to balance them out. for ever Ian Billen, you have a SS...

I love when people who call other people stupid have misspellings all over their screen. New Zeland? Budhist? The fuck? As noted by one of our more prescient posters, this was selective editing. Had I been interviewed, I would have gotten every single question correct & I think most of our posters here would have too. Except for IanBillen. He really is dense.
19th April 2007 11:16 AM
Chuck I don't think they had to edit it very much at all.

monkey_man That's fucking hilarious! Most of that was filmed on Venice Beach. . .go figure!

sirmoonie Its true, the United States does have more idiots per capita than other English speaking and "Western" countries, but we can handle it because our business model is founded on an ingenious "10-90 split" - 10% of able bodied adults create 90% of the economic growth, while 90% of able bodied adults loathe around slovenly misusing and exploiting about their 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, 7th, 13th, 14th, 15th, repealed 18th, 24th and 26th Amendment rights. In other words, we have a built in safety net for the teeming hordes of retards exemplified in that video.

Its a Leno type interview video of retards giving very George Walker Bush IIIian type answers to basic questions. Its funny, but its also pretty scary in a cosmic sense.

nankerphelge This reminds me of that Youtube clip from a few months back where the Stones are being interviewed and Brian Jones says "And Georgia is full of idiots"

No offense to any of our Georgians here, but BJ's negative view was quite vehement!

Angiegirl OMG!! That was funny! And shocking as well.

We had a TV show here in Holland about 15 years ago where they gave away a trip to a country if people could point it out correctly on a world map. Same funny results mainly. There are idiots everywhere.

But from my own experience when I visited the US, a lot of Americans do have some problems with knowledge about facts outside of the US, mainly because their own country is so large, most of the news happens in their mother land, there's hardly any need to learn a foreign language, etc.

Whereas people from tiny countries like me, we've always had to learn other languages and focus on other countries as ours is too small to be independant etc. The fact that I'm not typing this in my own language and Americans are points that out real well.

Thanks, sirmoonie!
We had some bad Southwestern Pennsylvania news recently: Dubya is a definite for this year's speaker at Saint Vincent College commencement in Latrobe PA.

MY ALMA MATER! SAY IT AIN'T SO! (I shall be posting as separate gripe thread about this later.)

And what a speech it is bound to be - good stuff is good, and bad stuff is like really bad.

Latrobe is one blue collar town, as I recall. Prep-school boy is going to get his geeky socks handed to him.

Sniff....
