Congrats to Immelman but a 75 in the final round to win by 3? They've not only Tiger proofed Augusta, they've "everybody" proofed it. Too bad too as it's one of the best championship courses around. Sorry, boring!

I thought that this years Masters was very average.
Nobody took any big chances. There are courses in the world which you just cant attack. Carnoustie is one of them. When the weather is against you, you just cant attack the course. Valderama is another.
Augusta is not an easy course by any stretch of the imagination. But it can be very forgipving if you are prepared to hit it hard and take some chances. People have proved it in the past. Most notably, Tiger in 97 (won by 12 shots), Faldo in 96 (Started the final day 6 shots behind Greg Norman) won by 5 shots. Bernard Langer ahd a great last round to win in 93.
I think a few players gave the course too much respect.
