I remember Keith said once that his fingers didn't hurt and that it didn't affect his playing (I think it was last year, in the Rolling Stone interview). I don't know about it, the way arthritis has deformed the articulations. Maybe they don't hurt (or he takes something to help it, of course).
But it does look like some god's revenge, or bad joke, to give a guitarist swollen fingers. Or like poor Beethoven, declining hearing.  |
