gimmekeef Biggest ommission from this suspect list is...Claptons Layla....with help from Duanne....stunning in its lasting glory!..Stones are a rythm band so wouldnt expect them to make a list if a legitimate one ever comes out...

However, theres a new 'list' of something every week. Its lazy music journalism. And no one cares.

Well I wish there were a way I could make some money of this list/poll craze. Then I would care....deeply.

Egbert What about that shredding solo on "I'm Free"?

stonesmachine I believe this list was meant to be the top 10 songs played on "air guitar". Chill everyone

Soldatti I've seen the whole list and no Stones song made the top 30.

corgi37 Thats fair enough then. No Stones songs worthy of air guitar. Stones songs are more for Jagger impersonators.

The list is gutter trash. Any list of guitar solos without Layla in the Top Ten is a waste of paper, ink, and thought.

Any number of Stones tunes have worthy guitar solos (Winter, Bitch, Time Waits For No One, to name a few), but I'm not surprised that they didn't have a song on this list. Their songs, as a whole, are too great to chop up and pick a few particular bars that stand out as greatness. The whole compositions are great, not just five or six measures.
