My buddy has a nice pic of him tending bar with Bruce in Jersey...I guess Bruce came in and wanted to tend a little bar...it beats the hell out of my picture with Clarence Thomas |

Greasy Lake has No Surrender opener.
Reports are trickling in sloooowly.
Guess there's some problems with the telegraph at the Omaha
Western Union tonight...

LJ..reminds me of our setlist woes when we didn't have a caller!! Guess the BTX caller is a "first timer"-lol |

Well Greasy Lake has crashed, and the naif at btx is totally lost...

Now it's finally starting to make some sense.
Thought for a minute that Bruce might've 86'd a coupla tunes owing to the late start.
Lots of these arenas have 11PM union curfews.

I'd say Joey got a pretty much perfect setlist..even if no premieres tonight.
River, Thunder Road, Jungleland, and Detroit Medley in one show..I'd have been a crying dancing fool!!!
And "Bright Eyes", Conor Oberst, did Thunder Road with Bruce!!

Thunder Road, Jungleland and Detroit Medley - encore is definitely a smoker!

The Agora Cleveland 78 show is the best sounding boot of the 1978 radio shows... But the best show is by far Passaic 1978
Kitty's Back is fucking awesome on this show, and so is Incident on 57th Street. Also the best version of Backstreets is on this show IMO
Winterland is great, but the sound quality is not that great... It has Detroit Medley, though |

Nice going, Joey! The PIT and everything! You got a nice setlist too, with the exception of Conor Oberst. I hope he doesn't have any "special surprise guests" when I see him. I likes my Thunder Road undiluted, thankyouverymuch. The Stones were always doing this last tour as well - Dave Matthews, Cui Jian, Christina Aguilera, Jack White...and Ana Moura in Lisbon. I'll never forget hearing the first chords of "No Expectations" and feeling a chill go down my spine, and then being so disappointed when they brought out a "guest." She may be a wonderful singer, but I don't want to hear anyone duetting with Jagger on that song.
Please Bruce - straight up, not on the rocks. |

I did...and, it is!
The little sis is coming along to get 'deflowered'
And the only reason she agreed is becasue she's a huge Stevie fan (circa his Sopranos run...)
Boy, is she going to be disappointed he doesn't go into his, 'Yo, Tony...' schtick mid-show! Ha!
|

Oh this will be interesting..
Yet another Bruce virgin!!
You know the drill, Pammy. Hope you can keep your little buddy informed!!

When Little Steven joined in singing that one new song (Long Walk Home), I truly enjoyed it. |
