HardKnoxDurtySox one of the things that sets the stones apart in my mind is the "professionalism" of the playing. take respectable for example. mick just bangs away at three chords to give the hard "chainsaw" effect. yet in the left and right speaker, we have keith and ronnie filling out the mix with licks that you'd never hear on an aerosmith record.
then there is the ballads. even the stones' sappiest ballads feature great playing. and they write them. how many aeorosmith ballads are imported from outside writers and feature tons of overdone strings and power chords?

polksalad69 Heard "Baby Please Don't go" by Aerosmith tonight. Does the world really need another version. The dj wasn't too impressed he said it they did the Amboy Dukes version

Now playing on the same radio station, "Miss You."
