Here's a killer -- KILLER -- story for ya.
A really cute girl I knew (and who liked the nank) in high school invited me to the show! But my parents would not let me go because (get this) the Stones did drugs!!! So all I got was a peak at the pix of them in their red outfits!
The best part of the story -- when July 4th rolled around and my parents were all full of themselves for protecting their boy -- I was in my room DOIN' DRUGS!!!!! |

Sounds similar to the '75 Stones concert! My Parents refused to let their 15 year old attend, especially after the Erie County Sheriff came out with the statement that he was ordering his deputies to "shoot" if drugs were spotted. I packed a suitcase in the middle of the night and threatened to run away from home! Mom and Dad relented when my best friend's twentysomething sisters-in-law offered to chapperone!
Less than a year later I was caught with.........."ROLLING PAPERS"!! !! Dad's first words after "Who is selling you that stuff?" were "Those Goddamn Rolling Stones"!!
