TheSavageYoungXyzzy I must say, if a live album comes from this tour, I hope that this version "Rock Me Baby" is on there. Four guitars! With some serious rock crunge, no less... hold the Bono, though, thanks. No other special guests... well, wait. Other special guests'd be very nice. Just not Bono.

-tSYX --- You stop dancin'!

Luxury: When Mick was in Chicago in Sept he went and worked out a local health club the next morning AFTER his first
show in Chicago. The paper said a girl at the club snuck up behind him when he got on the scale: 140

Child of the Moon AC/DC and the Stones...

That made my night. I'm in the mood to go out and buy some AC/DC now just because of that. Man, I love the Stones.

Can't say my dad will be too thrilled, though. He's always hated the Youngins. Wait'll I break the "sad news" to him.

AC/DC and the Stones. I really can't get over this. The best news of the tour since She Smiled Sweetly.
02-18-03 11:07 PM
gypsymofo60 AC/DC posers?????????????? I'm speechless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Angus Young ranks up amongst the all time great guitarists, and has done since he was a teenager. Wished I'd been there.

we were all so pumped for the show
we then walkied down to the enmore at 7:30
the excitement was electric people everywhere the police had blocked off the road

we had a few more drinks in the foyer there
got chatting with HG Nelson actually about the stones he is a really nice bloke

then we headed into the dancefloor man it felt like forever but finally the stones hit the stage
the crowd went bananas

THere's about 1/4 of my head above the camra lense, and SIA above the guy in the glasses. That was very close to when we moved in. The dude in the front was in a zone.

Sir Stonesalot You know, I almost hate to admit it...but I've always been a sucker for AC/DC. I saw them at the Offenbach Stadthalle back on the "For Those About To Rock" tour. I literally could not hear for 3 days afterwards. They actually had 21 cannons that would fire in unison during "For Those About To Rock". It was an indoor show. They played for about 2:45...and Angus never left the stage once. It was a great show.

Is anyone else amazed that Ronnie & Keef lent Angus & Mal guitars? You'd think the Youngs woulda had their own gear. Musta been a very spur of the moment thing.

And no JJF??? Whoa!

parmeda SIA & Exile...
So glad to see you survived, and thank you both for some wonderful pictures. I am still in awe of the fact you guys were fortunate enough to get AC/DC!!!! How fucking great! I am in so much misery with jealousy, and yet so happy for you...

Damn, how much better could it get...
02-19-03 03:46 AM
padre Want close-ups of the Young brothers with Glimmer Twins!!!
02-19-03 05:15 AM
luxury1 Wow--this is my first tour "on-line" and it is so cool to get immediate photos and info regarding shows across the world. BTW--I love Mick when he straps on an acoustic guitar. He always gets "that look."
Keep up the great work fellow RO-ers. I love this board.

The guitars are great via AC/DC, but the vocals never did anything for me - neither did a lot of the songs. I never really got into them. But hey, four great rock'n'roll guitarists on "Rock Me Baby"? Damn, I'll drink to that.

-tSYX --- We onna hiiiighhhway to hell...

Yeah! Ronnie lent out his $2600 Dussenberg? Our infamous 'mystery guitar'? Wow! You're right, it must have been spur of the moment.

Best kinda thing.

Yeah, that is pretty weird. I wonder why?

-tSYX --- Well ya talk about the midnight rambler...
