Ah, get it on brown sugar, how come you taste so good, babe?
Ah, got me feelin' now for brown sugar, just like a black girl should yeah
I wonder why they changes/updated the lyrics now to "just like a young man should"? Are the RS trying to become "politically correct"? And why? Anyone know the answer to this???? |

A couple of examples would suggest the Stones are going down the politically correct line.
- Brown Sugar gets an edit
- Sweet Black Angel doesn't get a play
- Stray Cat Blues live 2002/2003 contains 'I can see that your just 16 years old'. In '69 is was 13 years old, BB has it as 15. Youch! Okay 13 was REALLY pushing societies' buttons.

not to mention changing the lyrics to "Some Girls" on the '99 tour from "black girls just wanna get fucked all night" to "white girls"
So much for Mick's comment when it came out of "if they can't take a joke, fuck 'em" |

And to top it off there's a great pic somewhere of Beyonce wearing a 'Brown Sugar' top. Whoah.. this makes it doubly-sexy.

Yes I remember I saw at least Hot Stuff in the Dutch show Toppop. Not so famous artists performed their song playback in the studio. The famous ones made clips. The first Stones clip I remember btw is Angie (also in Toppop in 1973) |
