glencar I have snowy balls today. When does this end? I thought after last year we'd have light snow but this is incredible! Great for skiing.
01-28-04 03:42 PM
luxury1 Yeah--too many snow days off from school already. Right smack dab in the middle of some VERY IMPORTANT business I was attending to, comes the call to pick up at the sledding hill. NOw 6 teenagers are running rampant in my house.
I never could get back to my business either. Damn.
Shall I stop whining now??????????
01-28-04 03:45 PM
glencar Whine away, hon! That's what this is all about. And w/o Joshy here we need to keep up the whining.

gypsy Hey girls. I just wanted to let you know that my little sister lost the "glimmer twins" this morning. They were identical twin boys...she was 5 months along. Just thought I'd let you all know, since I had announced the news of the pregnancy on this board.
01-30-04 04:15 PM
Angiegirl O no! That's awful!
01-30-04 04:30 PM
Strange_Stray_Cat Gypsy: I'm very sorry. Take care!
01-30-04 05:06 PM
gypsy Thanks guys! I feel so awful for her. She said she never knew she could love something so much that she hadn't even seen yet. I had a friend at work do an ultrasound (top secret...on the weekend, when no administrators were there)...so I got to see them moving all around, and that makes you feel so different.
She'll recover...she's tough.
01-30-04 05:09 PM
LadyJane Oh gypsy....I'm so very sorry!!!

I'll be thinking of both of you.

LJ.

01-30-04 05:09 PM
parmeda gypsy, that's aweful news, I am so sorry for all of you...it's a sad thing. Be strong for your sister, I'm sure you will be...she needs to be surrounded by strong pillars of strength right now.
I'll say a prayer for the entire family...
01-30-04 05:23 PM
nankerphelge Very rough news -- sorry to hear it.
01-30-04 05:25 PM
Factory Girl gypsy, that is just terrible. My thoughts are with your sister.
01-30-04 05:31 PM
Joey

My sincere and heartfelt condolences go out to your sister and your entire family Gypsy . Tonight , before I go to bed , I will kneel down and say a prayer to our Savior , the Dear Lord Jesus Christ , the one who watches over each individual and wraps his loving arms around us whilst carrying and lifting us up in our times of grief and sorrow ..............................

gypsy Thanks again, all of you guys! I'm so tired...I spent all night/morning with her...she's all drugged up. My boss gave me the day off cuz I'm so tired...and I thought she would need help with things around the house. But her fiance is taking very good care of her. He probably took this whole thing the worst.

Oh well, let's talk about something funny. God, that James Brown mugshot is great, isn't it?
Let's do a poll...like, what would you rather be arrested in--a Hawaiian shirt or a bathrobe? I'll have to think about this one.

Oh, I saved another puppy from the pound this week...named her Ruby for "Ruby Tuesday."

As much as I enjoy James "Buckwheat" Brown, IF (God forbid) I was taken into custody, I want to be in a Hawaiian shirt. I actually have a blue one very similar to old Nick's. Perhaps I should keep it in the trunk of my car. Could you just picture it...."Officer, I am not resisting arrest, I've got to put my Nicki Nolte shirt on..for my pals at RO!!"

LJ.

01-31-04 10:37 AM
nankerphelge That really is a question for the ages.

The Hawaiian shirt connotes fun in the sun and rum drinks!

The bathrobe connotes nakedness and "oh shit, it's the cops, quick, hand me my robe"

I think the logical answer:

A Hawaiian bathrobe!!

Yeah buddy!

gypsy Yes, he looks good there! I like the sepia tone.

Nanky, speaking of pelvises, I read that Heather Mills McCartney is having surgery this month on her pelvis to repair plates damaged while giving birth to Macca-ette.
