No, I will not predict who will win. Nor will I predict the score. I will, however, predict the following: The Stones are going to blow the place out!!! I am willing to stake my sizeable reputation (stop laughing) on this. This will be a great moment in Stones history. One of the last great hurrahs for the greatest rock and roll band the world has ever and will ever know...

My prediction is it will look mechanical, embarrassing and cheesy, completely lacking any form of vibrant spontaneity and honest emotion.
Though it'll be no fault of the Stones, just because of the nature of the event. |

The Stones will have the best 1/2 time Super Bowl show
the NFL has ever seen.
Bank on it. |

My predictions for this evening ("Gazza The Greek")
1. Steelers to win by at least ten points
2. Aretha's performance of the Star Spangled Banner will be unforgettable, although most internet dickheads (who get touchy when people mock the Stones for looking old) will concentrate more on making fun of her for being fat than on her vocal skills.
3. Stones will play well, although Rough Justice may be a bit too ragged for some people's tastes. At 12 minutes for 3 songs however, it will sound a bit rushed.
4. The whole cheerleader thing during their set will look as cheesy as hell
5. The TV companies will impose at least 3 acts of petty censorship during the Stones' performance

Hey "Gazza The Greek"!
Hope yo' reputation as a prognosticator goes on for many years, not like Jimmy The Greek's did, with the now famous line which sent him to the glue factory...
"(The black athlete) is bred to be the better athlete because, this goes all the way to the Civil War when ... the slave owner would breed his big woman so that he would have a big black kid."
And to think Sir Mix A Lot had a hit with "Baby Got Back", and The Greek got drummed out of sports...Oh The Horror! |

why? do you wanna get a few beers, call round and sit on my couch?
I'm an insomniac and I dont have access to porn channels, so I have little option. I havent really followed American football much since the mid 80's however, when I was quite interested in it for a couple of years.
I'll have the game on for sure, although whether I'll watch it after the Stones are finished I'm not sure

Sure, sounds good to me .
It'll be the first time ever for me to see American Football and it will be a genuine culture shock no doubt.
So, why should I pull for the Steelers? And what are the others called again? |

I have to say SirMoonie, that cartoon looks a lot like Franco Harris. No wonder the Steelers won all those superbowls in the 70's.

YAY!!! He's just confirmed they're gonna air the Stones' performance, as it was the most asked question by email !!
