yes i got 2 in 96 first row off floor/aisle seats and should have waited as i got them during "first/special nite" presale thanks to members here who posted the presale code. i have alwasy had a hard time getting 2 together at garden and my daughter wanted to go see an arena show after being at hartford.
she flew back from school today and is shopping with my wife today so i along with her am physced.
is drinking age 18 in new york? i would like to FINALLY meet you all at stouts (where is it).
i don't usually do pre party as by time i get to shows i really cut it close time wise.
but would love to meet you and nellcote along with rest of crew. i did meet jb at boston sunday he really nice is a guy and i don't know but something about doing these shows with kids just works for me
weather is supposed to be real nice
Stout's is at 133 W. 43rd Street, just west of MSG. It's across from Hotel Pennsylvania & right next to the Blarney Rock pub. NY's drinking age is 21 but fake ID's always work well in that area. |

well i bet an 18 year old college kid doesn't have a fake id... yea rite she is at toads tonight seeing some band so her dad can only assume she has one.
going to get in early as possible as she wants dinner out of me. will try like hell to make an appearance... please keep the baileys on ice for me
and i hear they were rehearsing sway again anticipating a few different songs for friday as they did for second show in boston. i hope for a midnight rambler as i haven't heard it yet this tour.

Good article from the Post, but they censored the word "TITS"??? WTF? "Tits" is too obscene for NYC? Looks like the Post doesn't have any b--ls. |

What an incredible 48 hours.
The show blew me away. It felt like a different tour than Fenway 1 and Soldier Field. I'm convinced the Stones are monitoring these Boards.
When I heard JJF..I knew we were in for a treat. Great to get GOMC and LSTNT. Hightlights for me were Rambler and Gimme Shelter and, of course, This Place is Empty.
Worried About You was a great surprise. What will we get tonight???
As good as the show was, it was ICING. Meeting new friends and seeing old friends..I liken this to a family reunion. I stepped back at Stout and just looked at this amazing group of people. The smiles on their faces, the hugs being given, the laughter, the lunacy...this comraderie we share is special and warms your soul.
I needed the solace of my Stonesian family after the rough few weeks I've had. And it's helping me so so much. I know Mom is smiling down on me..I feel her. She loved NYC and she loved Broadway Shows.
Saw Wicked last night with SheRat, PartyDoll Meg and Peggy and it was EXCELLENT. Nothing like the theatre in NYC.
Better wrap this up. A few notes:
--Had a BLAST at Maxlugar's home yesterday Thank you for your hospitality
--PartyDoll MEG is now ROCC!!!
--I finally met EGON!!!! We WILL drink later.
---Gazza and Jaxx rock!!
--Riffy was a great escort to MSG. Thanks for looking out for me.
--Last night we (LJ, SheRat, Feej, Maxmeister, Pdog, MEG, Peggy and Payphone Al) wrapped up the night at the revolving restaurant atop the Hotel.
Time to start all over again. TomL just hit town and is ready to party. Thanks you crazy fucker for calling me cell at 730 a.m.!!! LOL.
Bye for now.
