He deserves the same treatment as Barry Bonds. After his interview last night, I am convinced of that more than ever. His "prima donna" contracts over the last few seasons suggest that point more.

I can no longer live the lie.
In the late summer of 04, I injected HPH (Human Posting Hormone) into Pdog's left buttock. It was right below the tatoo that read "slippery when wet". Shortly thereafter, his OPP (online plus posting avg) shot up to .845.
Soon after, he introduced me to Starbuck, who, not to be outdone, demanded some of his own. Apparently Starbuck was about to be "sent down" to Shidoobee and, in order to stay competitive, needed the extra "gas in the tank". When I suggested he just try baked beans, he drank all my cream soda, dinged up the corners on all my Adrian Peterson rookie cards and beat me with his lightsaber until I acquiesed.
I feel terrible about all this. Someone alert Mike Wallace.

i was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, but he was too defensive and the arrogance showed through.
did anybody catch it when he said the trainer was trying to 'bury me...' - and cut himself off - changing it to something like, making shit up or whatever....
maybe i'm reading to much into that -
but BURY... suggests that there's something to be buried by.
doesn't look good for him..
i feel bad because i bought my 9-year old neice a roger clemens Little Slugger glove a few years ago.

I'm not saying the guy never did roids...My guess is he did...but to say he "deserves" the same treatment as Bonds is ridiculous...I think you are all just taking this opportunity to show how non-racist you are...OK...I get it....now carry on

You're 100% wrong at why I feel this way... I don't like Clemens, never did... He deserves to be wiped out and humilited and have his carrer and life torn apart.
Bonds and race have nothing to do with this... so why are you even bringing him up and playing the race card? Why?

He did...I agree...but he has yet to commit perjury or even be accused of it...and all things being equal, I don't think he used nearly the amount of roids Bonds did...I would not want to be in his position...the position of having your entire legacy ruined over a mere allegation...The damn of it all is that Clemens physical feats at his age are not unprecented...Nolan Ryan was throwing in the mid 90 in his mid 40s...he left because of his back which, no amount of roids could remedy...and Clemens workout regiment was similar to Ryan's...I think he used, but I don't think the advantage he gained from using remotely approaches that of what Bonds gained
The "Top 10" weirdest injuries in baseball
include the following:
John Smoltz burned his chest while ironing a shirt that he was wearing.
Wade Boggs hurt his back when he lost his balance while trying to put on cowboy boots.
Odiebe McDowell cut his finger buttering a roll at the Texas Ranger's welcome home luncheon.
Ricky Bones hurt his lower back getting out of a chair while watching TV in the clubhouse.
Kevin Mitchell strained a muscle while vomiting.
George Brett hit his foot on a chair and broke his toe while running from the kitchen to the TV to see Bill Buckner hit.
Rick Honeycutt injured his wrist while flicking sunflower seeds in the dugout.
Chris Brown injured his eye by sleeping on his eye wrong.
Phil Niekro injured his hand shaking hands too hard.
Nolan Ryan was bitten by a coyote.

Nice job of ignoring the other elements of the reality of the two players...and the race card was brought up (and I'm a little surprised because you should have gotten this had you been paying attention all this time about what I've said about Bonds) in jest because, if you remember, that was one of Barry's defenses to his persecution...that's why...There are quite a few players who have been proven to have used roids that should be ruined...but I've never once advocated, even in Barry's case, that someone should be ruined based on a mere allegation...To me, Barry's case was simple, his feet grew three shoe sizes, his head grew an inch in circumference, and he had the backne of a teenage boy in a chocolate factory...not to mention his admissions and the other dubious goings on surrounding his involvement...other include Canseco, Palmeiro, Pettite and anyone else who has admitted or tested positive...I may ultimately feel the same way about Clemens as I do about Barry...It would depend on what else surfaces...But if you think he should do time and that federal charges should be brought because of what one man said I totally disagree...

Whatever happens to Clemens is his own doing. He basically just said, look at me, when he otherwise could've been ignored. Totally stupid, and funny. Any indictments that may come down on him, will be a direct result of his interview on 60 minutes, he wasn't even on anyones radar until last night as far as legal matters go...

See...I don't think I agree with that...if he's innocent, and I am by no means asserting he is, what else is he supposed to do?...He does the interviews, he sues for defamation, he has no other recourse...That's the problem I have with that Mitchell Investigation and Baseball's failure to test all these years...we're treating players who we THINK might have used roids worse than those we KNOW used roids because they tested for it...There are guys playing now that tested positive and we're gonna ban Clemens from the Hall because we think he used?...He is behaving like someone who is innocent...I'm not sure I believe him, but other than his decent stats late in his career, I have no real reason to doubt him...BTW...I hate him as well...ever since the Piazza incidents

We agree, baseball blew it, big time, in dealing with drugs in the sport. I do disagree, Clemens should've not done the interview, and let lawyers and PR people do any work needed. It didn't work out in his favor, it just put a big bullseye on him.

...six years ago, for the good of the board, I refused to wave my no-trade clause with pressures from other markets and stay with Rocks Off. I incurred a minor decrease in salary as the holy trinity gladly re-signed me to a long-term contract.
I'm still awaiting the "C" for my long list of team contributions. I've been called the Yzerman of Stones' boards...

for the record, my spike in my posting numbers was achieved prior to the Unholy Trinity banning Humon Growth Hormone on this board and I have not used HGH since, except for one or two occassions - and that was only to help myself quickly repair from a string of embarrassing posts.
I have been clean ever since. The numbers do not lie.
