Pdog, there is also "apple lossless", sort of like Flac for iPods. I don't import stuff as apple lossless, so I don't know what the memory impact is. Discussion boards at Apple.com might be informative on this.
It's too big, so I'm sticking to 320. i should be able to get alot on a 30 gig HD.
I have alot of music, so i know i can't put everything on. just doing a few hundred CD's is going to take alot of time... The baby is not happy about this, so I gave him the old PC keyboard and he seemed to let me have those few minutes needed to drop another Cd in and let it rip. |

I am not as sophisticated as you Mac people are, but I go to LimeWire and
download EVERYTHING including Rock and Roll Circus and the Monterey Pop
Festival. I have about 900 songs of different varieties. Maybe there is something
better than LimeWire if there is please inform. I do not have an IPod or all
that fancy stuff but what I have will do for now. Have never had any problems
with my Mac while others have their computers breaking down left and right.
There is so much a person can do with a Mac, I am going to get the Leopard
when it comes out this year. Photoshop is the greatest, maybe I will get
Photoshop 4 and keep going. Mac users unite!! |

He's probably pretending he's on a Wiggles or Dora message board talking to his cyber baby friends.
