I was serious.
Except for the pants around ankles bit. I have no direct evidence that occurred. Just "scuttlebutt" from the "others."
But he did spend his entire day at the RRHOF passed out in his car. Then he went to bed at 6:30 pm and no one saw him until the next day. Never let it not be said that the dude can't not party!

Come on jb, Bono is a great singer and lyricist. You may not like his bravado, but he does have talent.
I hope whoever is ill in their family will be ok. Unfortunately illness comes when it comes....you cannot schedule it.
today's Irish "Star" reports that its one of The Edge's close family - doesn't say any more than that.
Fair play to them for getting their priorities right even if it means disruption to their tour and loss of revenue, I say. |

In my humble opinion, I think this postponing regarding their tour could affect the Stones in a positive way, I mean, forcing the Stones to rush up the things with the new album and scheduling the new tour. With two bands on the road, I think the rock'n'roll crowd would feel divided in a certain way. I ain't saying that every Rolling Stones fan enjoy Bono and his band, neither every U2 fan enjoy the Stones (see Essessy).

......And I was the one who talked him into staying around the " Rock & Roll Hall of Fame " that afternoon so we all could get a ride home back to Berea ( thirty three miles away ).
Did anybody thank me for that .....?!?!?!
Hell , NO !!!!! They left me passed out on a bench in front of the " John Lennon Exhibit " upstairs at the six floor of the " Rock and Roll Hall of Fame " . Thank GOD Rick came looking for me or else your young Joey might have been sold off into some sort of " Prostitution Ring " .
