glencar If we do it from Monday to Thursday, we'll be able to ensure that we get enough rooms/suites. I like gambling but not as much as before I lost my money.
12-17-03 01:55 PM
nankerphelge No beers for lunch today.

I now have the shakes!

Thinking about getting one of those silver Medic Alert bracelets that says "In Case of Seizures, Pour Newcastles Directly into Mouth"

This being at work sober shit is for the birds!

12-17-03 04:14 PM
glencar I hope to have Newcastles tonight. Even better, this bar has a jukebox that none of the other patrons ever seem to put money into. I will play plenty of Exile & Hot Rocks & possibly Undercover(if they still have it!).
12-17-03 04:40 PM

12-17-03 04:54 PM
Some Guy Bro, I'm still celebrating my birthday*
12-17-03 05:39 PM
nankerphelge I'll tell ya who's been drinkin' is U.S. District Court Judge Paul Friedman who decided today that Ronald Reagan's almost-assassin John Hinckley (don't know if I spelled that right and don't care) can take unsupervised visits from the looney bin to see his parents and that he can have a sleep-over if he behaves!

Great!

As if we don't have enuf loons running around -- now they are letting the certifiable ones out!

Have you seen this guy's eyes -- windows to the soul eh? Well, there is no soul in there!
NOTHING!

How about Charlie Manson -- wonder how's he feeling these days. Maybe he needs a little R&R too.

12-17-03 05:42 PM
Some Guy This world is a crazy place young Nanky.
12-17-03 05:43 PM
glencar Wacky judges abound!
12-17-03 05:47 PM
nankerphelge Yep and the Secret Service will be spending our tax dollars tailing this guy while he swings by the folks' house for a BBQ!

I think I'll buy him one of those real-looking BB guns for Christmas -- then when he opens it up -- BLAMMO! Secret Service sniper with a high-powered rifle can put the fukcing bow on it for him!

I shot the Prez cuz I was insane!
But I'm feeling better thanks.
Can I go now...

12-17-03 05:48 PM
Some Guy Blame the Democrats
12-17-03 05:49 PM
nankerphelge Well Judge Friedman was appointed in 1994!!

Say no more.....
12-17-03 05:49 PM
glencar That's why we need the Death Penalty - now more than ever!
12-17-03 05:52 PM
nankerphelge He was "insane" -- his case actualy defined the defense of insanity!! Couldn't put him to death -- had to put him in St. Elizabeth's until he feels better -- then he can go home!

12-17-03 06:05 PM

glencar There's too much blood!
12-18-03 01:16 AM
parmeda He likes his nails just like his drink... neat

Of course, there's more to a metrosexual than just his look. For the modern man who fancies himself an international spy, there's the "Metrosexual Martini," now being shaken (not stirred) at the Fairmont Chicago's Bar at Aria. This downtown hotel bar calls the $12 drink "a controversial cocktail for the well-adjusted man," one featuring French-produced Ciroc vodka and three giant olives and served on a mirrored vanity tray. As any true metrosexual knows, accessories make the man... and this martini comes with a side of Shu Uemura sample-size skin products and a card for a free manicure. At 16 bucks, the treatment at nearby Petrosino's Parlor is worth more than the drink itself.

Now that's smooth.

Okay, fess-up fellas...I can only think of one of you that would fall into this category, proudly I might add! Who else is out there, hmmm?
12-18-03 01:33 AM
glencar I'll be as metrosexual as you want me to be...Ho Dean's a metrosexual!
12-18-03 06:59 AM
nankerphelge I think maybe I'm a metrosexual.

I am very particular about the McDonalds I frequent, I always put my pinky underneath my beer bottle so I won't drop it, and I can bite my nails off completely straight just like if I used a clipper!

12-18-03 07:04 AM
egon nank, i asked you about what to do for drinks this xmas
(what to drink, when to start etc.), but i can't find your answer anywhere.

and xmas in in 6 days you know!

12-18-03 07:16 AM
Zeeta Champaign and Zatec a mighty Czech beer - so mighty it doesn't even have a website!
12-18-03 07:31 AM
nankerphelge Egon -- go to a few hotels, empty their minibars of all the little liquor bottles -- throw them in a box and start your own little "Secret Santa" party -- just reach in, grab a bottle and drink it. Repeat as necessary!

PS -- love the Saddam stuff!

nankerphelge As I made my way to work on the Fairfax County Parkway this morning I had the distinct pleasure of following a Newcastle Brown Ale delivery truck for a few miles.

I could smell it's delicious cargo!
I could hear the little bottles singing to me:

"nanky, nanky, come and spank me"

Guess I know what's for lunch today!

Keith's B-day
Talk of a tour
Newcastle truck

I may have beers for breakfast today...

[Edited by nankerphelge]
12-18-03 09:09 AM
glencar The joint last night had no Newcastle so we made do with Heinekins. And of course, "Casino Boogie" on the jukebox.
12-18-03 09:16 AM
LadyJane Nanky...the Newcastle company really needs to be made aware of your contributions to their PR efforts.

If you ever tire of practicing law, I'm sure the Newcastle company would love to have you as it's Spokesman!! LOL

I am NOT a beer drinker (hard liquor only) and I'M going to try one.

LJ.
