Sioux No problem, Linda my dear... It's very hard to keep up with "who said what" all the time! Mom is 85 and Dad is 84--it's hard when they get older. When I'm not with them, I still picture them being about the age I am now. I guess that's the way I cope with the fact that they aren't as young as they used to be...

Hang in there, Sioux!

Sioux Thanks Lisa.... LOVE that Brian pic! Mom is doing a bit better today. She'll be in the hospital all week, but hopefully will get stronger and be able to go home after that {with oxygen, I would think}. Coming here every day to talk to you guys, and see these AMAZING Brian pictures is just what the doctor ordered! Brian is the best medicine...

BriansBabe ...yes, he is our "dear doctor"

zooeyglass Alex, I've always wanted to go to Mardi Gras here, and I hear der Deutsch fastnacht is just as crazy!

Have you/will you dress up?

Sioux, I'm truly glad we can be of some comfort to you.

I naturally have many "favorite" pictures of Brian, but one really at the very top of my list for you.

15th January 2008 12:49 AM
Sioux Thanks Lisa, I love that one too.... I can't believe how many wonderful pictures there are of Brian. I will easily fill a dozen, FULL, scrapbooks of pictures, at the rate I'm going! I am using the big photo albums---with 100 pages each---and I put as many pictures on each page as I can. It's so much fun going through all the pix, arranging them on the page, sighing over each one....I'm on book 4 now, and I have hundreds more pictures to be used. What a wonderful dilemma!

Dear Lisa, I hope your Mom is feeling better. I am sorry
to hear she is having breathing problems. Asthma is hard
to deal with. I have several friends with asthma. Please
let us know how she is doing. Hope Sophia's ear is healing
okay too.

Thanks everyone for the beautiful Brian pictures. Please
take care all of yourselves and your loved ones.

Linda, my ear is still healing but much, much better. Thanks, "Sophia"

Just kidding
I know it gets confusing with all the back and forth and I knew you meant me. Thanks for thinking of me!

GhostofBrianJones I LOVE that pic where he is getting out of a car or is it
his Rolls Royce and going into Priory Hospital for a stay.
He really loved striped clothing or so it seemed.

I have a purse similar to that satchel he is carrying! LOL!!
Looking good as usual.

Hi dear Linda, I try it to explain ...

In the South of Germany, where I life, carnival is called "Fasching" or "Fastnacht".

Itīs a festival season which begins on January 6 (Three Kings Day) and usually ends on the day before Ash Wednesday, which is the beginning of Lent. It typically involves a public celebration or parade combining some elements of a circus and public street party...

...a few masked people, as forest-ghosts or witches

Inspiration for the carnival lies in the fact that during Lent, before easter, traditionally no parties may be held and many foods, such as meat, are forbidden; the forty days of Lent serve to commemorate the Passion of Jesus. It is natural for people to have the desire to hold a large celebration at the last possible opportunity before fasting.
Also a reason is, yearn for warmer weather and the birth of new life in the awakening nature in the springtime...

And, where is our dearest Brian??? - HERE

GhostofBrianJones Hi! I was wondering if it possible to blow up some of those
magazine articles so a person who happens to read and
maybe understand the language could translate them? I mean
the pages themselves? If there was a way to do this we could
find out what the article is about just out of curiousity.
Anita had no intentions of marrying Brian and vice versa
they liked their independency from what I have seen.

LOVE TO S&K!!

My Mom is doing a bit better. She's receiving treatment, still, in the hospital. I'm not sure when she'll be going home. And the husband goes to the urologist tomorrow, so hopefully we'll know more by then. Thanks for asking, dear Alex!
