I just learned that I might be coming to LA/CA right after the Bowie show in January, Martha and IF I get to come out I must hook up with you this time around. So sorry it didn't get to happen in February. I still feel bad that we couldn't get you into the show that night! BooHoo.
I have lost most of my Xmas spirit in the past couple of years. The commercialization of it is OTT (imho). I would prefer to skip it altogether (I have no kids to play Santa with or money to mindlessly blow).
So, I will do a few things, like send out some cards, send out some special music packages to my music lovin' friends, make some phone calls and e-mails and eat/cook some good Holiday treats (original Chex Party mix a go-go, etc.) and watch more MUSIC/concerts on DVD in 5.1 surround on the tube/stereo. Now that always gets me through.

staying temporarily at my dad's house in Orange County and I
commute to work in L.A., etc., so, yes, we should meet up
there, ok.?!?!?! I got burglarized a few months ago and
decided to move to my dad's until I find another place in
L.A. 'cause the area I was living in was getting alot worse
as time went on, etc., and I KNOW I made the right decision
(L.A. has actually had this huge crime spree lately!!!
Someone else I know was burglarized in L.A., also, right
after I was!!!!!!! WEIRD!!!!! 
And, there was a front page write-up about the crime spree
lately, also, in this popular, free paper here!!!)...
Anyways, I'll PM you mmy numbers later and I will plan on
whenever you get here to DEFINITELY hook-up, ok.?!?!?!

MMD, I'm SO glad you moved out of the crime riddled area of L.A. It is a terrible feeling to have someone vandalize your nest. Ugh.
My friend Kenton lives in Valley Village...maybe we can meet at his place? If that is doable, whatever works ehh....for now I am not final on my plans so this may not come to pass...I'll certainly let you know though as I proceed. One day at a time!
