Honky Tonk Man I don't like any of 'em! Or Maybe I should add that I don't know anything by them. All except Rocking In The Free World. Neil Young is one of those I keep meaning to check out, but never seem to get round to doing so.

Well you gotta start somewhere and he's got plenty of Neil stuff kicking around. You should soon, when the book of Rock n Roll is finally written, Neil is one of a handful of artists who'll have his own chapter.

Ten Thousand Motels Paul Anka and Celine Dion are Canadian but they suck.
Anka does have the distiction of having sung the worst song ever recorded...."Having my Baby"....or at least the worst lyrics.

A bit of trivia for you. That Don't Impress Me Much by Shania Twain was the first CD single I ever purchased. I was 15 and my tastes were somewhat different back then.

Highwire Rob As far as Folk/Rock I'm a Gordon Lightfoot fan!

Word.

Even Journey's Steve Perry is more listenable than Geddy Lee!!!

27th November 2006 04:05 PM
Fiji Joe Please stop using the term "word"

You're way too uptight for that...you're just going to ruin it for the cool kids...there is precedent...like when you started wearing parachute pants and everyone else stopped...and like when you was running around the neighborhood telling all the other dudes how you got the "stinky finger" at the roller rink on Friday night...which would have been cool if you weren't 38

Jizzy?

It's just like those days back in Brooklyn...yeah, you'd throw down your cardboard...and you'd crank up the LL Cool J...but in the end, you were just another cracker from the burbs trying to pop and lock with the brothers...
