Lots of good stories

Also met George Lucas and talked about Altamont with him

And for some reason, met Bill O'Reilly also

Daryl is a big man..I talked to him in Ark. He is good friends with that dude who does that show on ESPN with Tony Korheiser.

Michael Wilbon? Kornheiser likes the Stones -- but he LOVES the Beatles.

Yeh Tele. you'd think they would have offered you at least a ticket to this wide open event.

they were probably tired of hearing:

"No Thanks, I already seen you guys this year in Chicago"

"It will be too cold"

"I will be going to Aerosmith instead"

"Weren't you just here?"

"I'd Rather Not"

"You know, you are the eighth person today to offer me free tickets!"

Humiliating...Chicago is not remotely close to being the Stones town it was a few years ago....this show has all the makings of a Louisville.

Sadly, I have been shunned by tele and LJ, and you'd probably receive the same treatment, as Parmeda was shunned as well!

Okay here is my info.......

As I was setting up transportation for pre and post show activities with a "source" in Chicago I was told "The Stones are about to land at Midway."

At same moment Tele emails to say he is going to try and find band at Ritz or Four Seasons. I encourage him.

I don't even know where they are staying!!!!!!!!!!

Leave me alone...I gotta go pack.

Pug...see you tomorrow.
Pam...see you tomorrow.

You can both shun me.

JB...see you in AC!!!!!!!

LJ.

He said it "was weird"

He also said "nobody knew any of that was going to happen and that is what freaked us out"

Kinda obvious but cool to talk with him about it

Did he happen to mention that it never would have happened had the Ewoks been hired as security?

Saint Sway ........................

You asked about the word mensch . Here is some information that I have gathered after enormous research :

I have heard it used in polar opposite contexts...generally it means a stand up brother...but I've also heard it used as an exclamation to express frustration...I would say that if it was uttered in your presence, you probalby pissed someone off

I almost knocked him down while he was leaving the mens room (urinal #3) at the Bristol Room. He was very focused and was heading for the bar....I on the other hand, was very focused and needed to empty my bladder.....I must say, I showed some outstanding agility and maneuverability for a big/tall man, but veering left and out of his way. Blondie apologized and joined us at our table where jb bought him a drink.
