MICK looks and sounds wonderful!!! Nice of Matt to mention MICK's dad, that was respectful and shows MICK's humanity. Interesting background on the LENNON/MICK song on the new CD. I'll buy it tomorrow, but I'm disappointed there are only 3 new songs! Anything new is better than nothing new. I hope! LOL! |

Depends on how strictly one defines 'country songs' I guess. At this point I think the quality of the slower songs is miles ahead of any of the 'rockers', especially when talking about Mick solo without a legendary band behind him. I think his singing and songwriting talent shows more in slow/touchy songs in most of his solo work.
