I had this bad-ass flu this past weekend.
Had a headache that wouldn't quit so I went to the doctor.
So he prescribes this shit with hydrocodone!
WOW
That's some stuff.

Narcotics are able to bring about many bodily effects beyond the notorious addictive euphoria. Other effects the medical profession has been interested in include: analgesia, anti-diarrheal effects, cardiovascular effects, and cough suppression. Hydrocodone represents a narcotic developed to accentuate the cough suppression effect. It is somewhat more effective in this regard than codeine (another famous narcotic with strong cough suppression effects). Cough suppression by narcotics is effected by direct action on the cough centers of the brain.
Hydrocodone also tends to dry respiratory secretions, a desirable effect in benign minor infections (see below). This effect is further accentuated with the addition of a substance called "homatropine;" however, one of the chief reasons why homatropine is added is to prevent abuse of hydrocodone's narcotic effects. Should someone attempt to consume more than a recommended dose of hydrocodone (and homatropine) some very unpleasant side effects of homatropine will prevent gross overconsumption. |

you expected it to be good??? it was doomed from the start..he was the most uninteresting character on friends....
tv really sucks these days. i watch "the daily show with jon stewart" on comedy central...some nick at night. mostly i watch movies on my vcr or dvd player. tv has hit an all time low imho. |

Congrats on the legal narcotics, nanky! I just popped a Vicoprofen myself, and am feeling real good. I like to mix one Valium with one Soma...oh, it's heaven...if only it lasted longer...if I could just walk around pushing my own IV pole... |

Well I ended up in the ER for about 5 hours yesterday. And YES...they gave me some opiates and a scrip. This morning my opinion of opiates is VERY favorable.  |
