LOL
yeah, that one sure is overdue, but who knows.
In 1998, I remember "Moonlight Mile" being the song everyone seemed on the 'net seemed to be longing for them to dust down for a live airing and they obliged on "No Security" tour.
After that, it was "Cant you hear me knocking" which they finally unearthed for the "Licks" tour.
Sometimes, they DO listen, it seems
"Sway" and "Slave" have been two more in recent years that people have been longing to hear live. Me included.
Of their 60's hits, the only real big hits they havent brought back in the last couple of decades have been "Mothers little helper" and "have you seen your mother baby" (Mick did the latter at Webster Hall,NY in 1993 and it was excellent).
My personal choices would also include "You Cant Catch Me" which I think would be especially great on a b-stage. |

Gazza, as you are mentioning the Webster Hall...
I own a copy of the concert that I found some years ago on Napster, but I'm missing some information: musicians, complete setlist...etc. Maybe you can help me ? Was something official released ? Thanks in advance |

Nothing official was released, although the show was filmed for an MTV special and clips of several songs were broadcast.

I always like these kinds of threads... :-) We can only hope that the boys read this...I obviously have to second all of the above...
Sway
Jivin' Sister Fanny
Prodigal Son
Any Chuck Berry number(s)
Slave
Dance Little Sister
Short & Curlies
Silver Train
The Lantern
Blinded By Rainbows
Ain't That Peculiar (Marvin Gaye tune)
Walkin' The Dog (Rufus Thomas tune)
Ain't That A Lotta Love (Taj Mahal tune)
Cry To Me (Solomon Burke tune)
Let It Loose
Low Down

Thief in the Night

All of these ofcourse come with one stipulation:
THAT THE PLAY THEM WITH CONVICTION AND PASSION!!!! I personally don't want to hear a half-assed version of 100 Years Ago; if so, then, they can stay off tour as far as I'm concerned.
Cheers.
