Gazza I've lost count how many different track listings there have been for this much-delayed single, but now it seems we're getting a few 'Live Licks' outtakes as the bonus tracks! (is there NOTHING they could put on it from THIS tour?)

The Rolling Stones Biggest Mistake 7” single
(Virgin Records 00946-3644267-9) Europe, July 17, 2006
Side A: Biggest Mistake
Side B: Hand Of Fate (live at the Olympia Theatre, Paris)

The Rolling Stones Biggest Mistake CD single
(Virgin Records 00946-3674142-0) Europe, July 17, 2006
1. Biggest Mistake
2. Dance (live at the Olympia Theatre, Paris)
3. Before They Make Me Run (live at the Olympia Theatre, Paris)

thanks to Rene on IORR for the info

egon they've read my posts;
stick an extra "never released before" track or on there
and you doubled the sales (guaranteed!)

so around 300 copies world wide
22nd June 2006 08:23 AM
egon only see this now;

they put out 2 version, each with different extra songs.

Thus one has to buy them BOTH.

2 thumbs up for the boys!

I'm bending over now, please enter when ready.

LOL...yeah it will get released in some countries around that time - or maybe not at all, because they dont think they'll be able to find anyone in the next 12 months who will be able to press it!

luxury1 uh-oh. I am thinking the Stones are losing some of their most loyal fan base--it is sad that this message board is dedicated to them, and there is so much disappointment here. If they do read all this, maybe, just maybe, they will stop all this world-wide touring extravaganza nonsense and do smaller venues/risk-taking material, and we will, after all, get what we want......

Sorry but how naive can you get. The hardcore fans generate only a very small percentage of the big money the Stones earn. 'We' are not interesting for them. So why should they listen to us? The Stones are a worldwide company and there is no place for sentiments.

egon Indeed. now bend over and say thank you!

Nellcote Luxy..my Casey Kasem moment "Here's a dedication for Mick in Dartford. Hope you can achieve all of your goals in life...Keep workin hard Micky, churn out those singles, some day you'll make those millions....

Luxury

(M. Jagger/K. Richards)

I want a real fine car, fly Miami too
All the rum, I want to drink it, all the whiskey too
My woman need a new dress, my daughter got to go to school
I'm working so hard, I'm working for the company
I'm working so hard to keep you in the luxury

You can't call me lazy on a seven day a week
Make a million for the Texans, twenty dollar me
Yes, I want a gold ring, riding in a limousine
I'm working so hard, I'm working for the company
I'm working so hard to keep you in the luxury

Now listen, I'm a proud man, not a beggar walking on the street
I'm working so hard, to keep you from the poverty
I'm working so hard to keep you in the luxury, oh yeah
I'm working so hard, I'm working so hard
Harder, harder, working, working, working

I think it's such a strange thing, giving me concern
Half the world it got nothing the other half got money to burn
My woman need a new dress, my daughter got to go to school
I'm working so hard, I'm working for the company, oh, yeah
I'm working so hard, oh, yeah

Working on a Sunday in refinery
Make a million for the Texans, twenty dollar me
All the rum, I want to drink it, I got responsibility
I'm working so hard to keep you from the poverty, oh, yeah
I'm working so hard, I'm working for the company, oh, yeah
I'm working so hard, oh, yeah
Harder, harder, working, working...

Its certainly NOT confined to this board in particular, Luxy. The natives appear to be more restless than ever on every site I've seen...
