You talking to me? Yeah, some ....why?
11th May 2006 05:55 PM

Oh. Well that's true. It's just those shirts he always wore. No imagination.

Saint Sway but not flamboyantly gay, either.

points for Stu.

Leisure suit!!! He never wore a leisure suit, did he? Post pic please.

Ten Thousand Motels The only one that ever looked cool in a leisure suit was Hugh Hefner. But Hef spends most of his time naked anyway so that it hardly matters.
11th May 2006 07:43 PM
Soldatti Mick circa 1975-76 and 1985.
11th May 2006 07:53 PM
glencar Wyman always. Even today he's got those annoying purple sunglasses.

admittedly bill has always been the most stylistically challenged but imho mick in 1981 was ridiculous... i can only presume some type of stylist/wardrobe expert convinced him this was a "good look"

sssoul some of Mick's 70s stage outfits - especially 78 - bugged me a lot more than his 81/82 look - but i reckon they were supposed to bug me, so i forgive him. it goes with the gig.
his current choices are ... well, he's Mick Jagger and he can do what he wants.

Keith, be *well* - all the way, baby, all the way

I think it was a reference to Leisure Suit Larry (Laffer) - and yes, my sister and I always thought Wyman looked (and acted!) a lot like Larry Laffer

I was thinking more of the polyester leisure suits of the 70's...about as square as you get get. The Republicans liked them though. In fact I think Republicans count for about 100% of leisure suit sales.

That blue outfit isnt a leisure suit..Its one of those crappy "track suits" the old ladies wear to Walmart...

Madafaka Wyman, no dubts!
12th May 2006 10:26 AM

glencar Whether Mick wears gymwear or shiny jackets, he sets trends. Wyman just looks like a guy who retired to Florida & doesn't know what to do with himself.

Saint Sway OK. Mick's fashion peers:
Richard Simmons
Liberace
the guy from River Dance

draw your own conclusions...

glencar I believe the dweebs from a certain imitative band will be dressing like him in 20 years.

Nothing can top that! You're so right. How embarassing, even for the seventies.

Jigsaw Puzzle Yah i couldn't stop laughing when i first saw that...

Spru I know this is the "worst dressed" thread, but wasn't Carlie voted best dressed man in the world (or something similar) in some poll in early '05? I think he was, just can't remember what it was exactly. I definitely agree w/ that too; what doesn't Charlie do well? He's the man.

I don't know what's gayer? Is it the warm up suit or that Thompson Twins bass he's playing? Shit that bass would make Thomas Dolby green with envy!
