Ho-hum,..another day, another country, another premiere
We've had them for Berlin and New York, so today is London's turn.
May as well have a thread devoted to this one as well!

Stones to attend UK Shine launch
The Rolling Stones and Scorsese launched the film in New York
The Rolling Stones are due to attend the UK premiere of their new documentary film, Shine A Light, made by Martin Scorsese, later in London.
The movie charts the band's 46-year history, interlinked with footage from a 2006 concert in New York.
Scorsese has said he made the film because the Stones provided the soundtrack to his life.
"The Stones' music dealt with aspects of a life that I was growing up in and trying to make sense of," he said.
"Their music was tougher and had an edge; beautiful and honest and brutal at times and powerful. It's always stayed with me."
On Sunday, band members Keith Richards, Charlie Watts, Mick Jagger and Ronnie Wood attended the world premiere of the movie in New York.
Oasis, Sadie Frost, Chris Evans and Noel Fielding are some of the British stars expected to attend Wednesday's event at the Odeon Leicester Square cinema.
Sky News will also be broadcasting live from the red carpet at Leicester Square. I'd imagine it'll be within the next 30-60 minutes surely

They just did a quick preview from leicester Square..Stones should be there just after 7. It's pissing down, needless to say.
Looks like I'm the only Stones fan in the UK not at one of the 100 locations showing the premiere tonight!

I don't kmow about Sky News (in the UK) but you can pick up 2 satellite transmissions running now if you have a dish (in europe) that you can point at 1W. Channels SAL and SAL Test2 are at 11463v 5632 and 11508v 5632.

Wow...they excelled themselves. They went back to the live broadcast after the Stones had gone in and showed a 20-second interview with Keith that had been recorded a couple of minutes earlier.
well worth waiting an hour and a half for.
