Break The Spell I was watching their "Family Jewels" DVD the other night, really like the disc one early years DVD. I wish there was a way for Bon Scott's ghost to appear on the new album, that guy was one of the best.

egon Angus lives with his Dutch wife in the Netherlands (achterhoek)

He too could not stay and watch
how the stones are being humilated over and over again
in his morthercountry.

Bless you Angus, for having chosen the best country in the world.

Prettige verjaardag!

They won't, they just need to release that new album already!! Stiff upper Lip was 6 years ago, it shouldn't take that long to write 10 or so new AC/DC songs.

Soldatti 6 years without new AC/DC album...
31st March 2006 07:46 PM
StickyFishFingers yeah it's a worry that it is taking so long, especially considering Brian Johnson stated in an interview end of 2004 that the album would out last year. An album of tracks like 'Can't stand still' would be awesome.
2nd April 2006 07:39 PM
kath still short though, idn't he??

I remember that, they also said it would be a double album, and the tour would start in summer 05. At this rate, perhaps we could expect a triple album. I miss the old days of laying down 8-10 solid tracks and putting out an album a year and not over-doing things in the studio.

From Wikpedia: "Their albums have sold in colossal numbers, the total now being estimated at well in excess of 150 million copies worldwide, with the 1980 album Back in Black selling over 21 million in the US alone and 42 worldwide, making it the second best selling album in the world."

I'd much rather have Back In Black being the best selling album in the US than Thriller (yuck!!) or the Eagles Greatest Hits.

Stones have sold more ....................and Michael/jackoson and the Eagles have sold even more.................

Break The Spell Thankfully Thriller's sales, as well as all of Jackson's catalogue have fallen off due to his unfavorable public persona of the past 15 years.
