moy hard to say which is the worst, but the best studio album is gimme some neck and the best live is slide on live
03-26-03 01:52 AM
Child of the Moon My top 5 faves:
1) Gimme Some Neck (Ronnie)
2) Main Offender (Keith)
3) Wandering Spirit (Mick)
4) I've Got My Own Album to Do (Ronnie)
5) Talk is Cheap (Keith)

Honorable mentions: Goddess in the Doorway (Mick), Mick Taylor (Micky T)

The worst, of all the ones I've heard, is probably Mick's She's the Boss, but even that has its moments. Actually, let me change that to the Wyman album that has "Si Si Jes Suis Un Rock Star." (Shudder)
03-26-03 02:52 AM
Jumacfly hi guys, don t forget to mention Charlie and Jim Keltner project, it s not very rock n roll but sounds great!!

better for me is "wandering spirit", main offender is also great( specially hate it when you leave)

Cheers guys!!

TheSavageYoungXyzzy Well, Ronnie wasn't a Stone when he did I've Got My Own Album To Do, which is, coincidentally, a Stones album without the words "Rolling Stones" on the cover. As in, the leadoff track is Mick and Ronnie howling along together and it just gets better from there. That's the one solo album I've heard by any of the members that captures the feeling of the band - and the guy wasn't in it yet!

So if you rule that and Now Look out, you've got these top five:

1) Talk Is Cheap (Keith)
2) Live And Eclectic (Ronnie)
3) The Charlie Watts/Jim Keltner Project (Charlie)
4) Main Offender (Keith)
5) Gimme Some Neck (Ronnie)

Of course, if you didn't, I've Got My Own Album to do would beat Talk Is Cheap.

-tSYX --- Talk is cheap...

VoodooChileInWOnderl Back to Jair's question "The worst & the better solo projects"

It's hard to mention only one but

The Best: Brian Jones' Brian Jones Present the Pipes of Pan at JouJouKa, what a pity he couldn't finished, but the Stones production is great.
The Worst: Bill Wyman's Green Ice, I heard it once and sold it!
03-26-03 11:53 PM
Gimme Shelter What does anyone think of Keith's Wingless Angels"? I have never heard it.
