Voodoo Scrounge I gotta say. Love is strong is a dissapointment.

It dont work live
January 20th, 2006 12:46 PM
gimmekeef LIS did work very well live in 94.Have a boot from New Orleans called Imperial Heartbreakers..and that song smokes!
January 20th, 2006 12:48 PM
Voodoo Scrounge I think the ending is ok, but the rest is just crap. Sounds like a rehearsal
January 20th, 2006 12:56 PM
T&A LIS is not a good song and NEVER worked live, IMO. As to the guitars in LSTNT - they left that song in '82 and haven't been heard from since....

Mick's intro on harp is...how to say..experimental.
January 20th, 2006 01:18 PM
gimmekeef Guess they should have practiced it....I'd rather they try a few seldom played and miss parts..than nail the same warhorses everynight though...

Soldatti I don't like LSTNT too much, the 97-98 versions were a lot better.

I seen it done once that tour...I dont care for that song to begin with so sans Taylor, they had an uphill battle to impress me to begin with. I would choose about 15 other ballads to hear before that one.

Once again in rare moment of solidarity I must concur with Jizzy here. Pug I don't know how you can possibly not like LIV?!?!? As one of only two Robert Johnson covers that the Stones do it is an amazing tune. Listen the version off of No Security censord and it is simply amazing. Ronnie does a fine job on it.

Wood did a fine job on it...i just dont care for the tune, other than perhaps the Ya Ya's version. I love Stop Breaking Down though
