Topic: Friday MSG PREDICTIONS Return to archive Page: 1 2
January 19th, 2006 12:53 PM
Saint Sway its gonna be nearly impossible for them to top last nights set. Worried... Love Is Strong... Rocks Off... and that nasty sucker punch of Gimme Shelter they hit us with in the middle of the band intros.

heres what I see for Friday...

pencil in:
IORR
YGMR
Shes So Cold
Paint It Black
and either As Tears Go By or Memory Motel

big surprise:
Sway

maybe if were lucky:
It Wont Take Long
or a 1st time played?

unsure if they'll follow up the 1-2 punch of Rambler/Shelter. We might get one and not the other.

your thoughts/predictions...
January 19th, 2006 12:54 PM
glencar It'll be back to the usual. Last night was wonderful. I'm not expecting as much of a surprise.

January 19th, 2006 12:57 PM

Altamont I doubt they will play Midnight Rambler again on Friday. I bet they'll do Shattered.

Maybe Sway or Street Fighting Man. Hopefully Keith replaces TPIE with something different.

Saint Sway I think that set list is pretty spot on, as far as a likely possibility.

Trim it to 21. PIB is definately in. No chance of LC. Beast probably not. ONNYA out for Shes So Cold.

DAVINO Are you guys saying Sway because they soundchecked it? I love that tune! I also love Worried About You. Maybe Let It Bleed or Starfucker, that would be awesome!
January 19th, 2006 06:46 PM
Soldatti Sway and another tour debut (a new song?)
January 19th, 2006 09:36 PM
speedfreakjive In an ideal world I'd wish for Sway and When The Whip Comes Down, (the tour premiere, i think), but we're more likely to get Respectable and Dead Flowers, maybe.

Monkey Man is also a possibility, the version from MSG on Live Licks rocked.

After his 39th squat thrust, Joey can no longer contain his feelings, and asks Richard Simmons if he'll go to Vermont and be his life partner. A stunned Simmons squatted silently for a few moments before wispering breathlessly.."yes....yes...yeeeesss".... He then cried until taken away by gym security.
