From NEW YORK DAILY NEWS:
Stones to keep rolling: That was longtime Rolling Stones keyboardist Chuck Leavell predicting over breakfast the other day that Mick, Keith and the boys will stage a world tour next year. Besides 61-year-old Jagger and Richards, that includes 57-year-old Ron Wood and 63-year-old Charlie Watts. "What are they gonna do - sit home and watch TV?" asked the 52-year-old Leavell, who's just published his memoirs, "Between Rock and A Home Place," about his life as a musician and forest conservationist in Georgia. |

Can't Chuck just finally go off an play with U2
Two birds with one stone, so to speak
Great piano player, nice guy, loves trees, lovely person
He doesn't belong with The Stones
He belongs with....U2 or Macca

And his *TIGHT* shirts are gross. That is reason enough for him to get booted outta the Stones. |

Yeah, the ``TIGHT shirts`` factor is important, but i think he should get booted outta the Stones for his Heavy-Metal face after doing the T-E-R-R-I-B-L-E ``solo`` in Honk Tonk Woman, in Four Flicks, MSG.
THESE are reasons enough. |

Wow. Mentioning that the Stones will tour and his publication in the same breath...
What would they do without him? |

Well, they play with him since 1982, we have to believe that they dont't want (or they can't ?) play without him...
And when Ronnie dont' play... he does.

Welcome aboard Pierre! Love your avatar.
IMO the Stones can and should play without Chuck. It's only a matter of laziness and habit, I suppose. |

agree - the Stones should lose Chuckie for their next tour. I think we'd hear alot more guitars without him - it's great that he's buried in the mix of Live Licks. |

Yes, his sound presence is too important...
That's why I prefer the blues, rock and boogie sound until 1978...

well if Chuck says they are touring, then I guess we can take it as gospel--I suppose CHuck is keeping Charlie's cancer in check also.......
I am secretly excited by all the recent words from Mick, Don Was and now Chuckie Cheese (he does resemble that chubby mouse thing, dont he?)
I hope we are all starting a Tour Fund so the RO gatherings can commence. Did someone say a summit in Chicago this tour? |

Not really. If anything, if you put a yellow jumpsuit on him and painted his face, he'd look like Ronald McDonald with a beard. |
