At this point during the Licks tour HBO was in heavy rotation touting the January MSG show.(remember the tongue on the top of the Garden?...that was a cool ad).It looks like along with club dates this format may have been scrubbed too. |

I wouldnt rule out a Pay Per View show. Its almost traditional.
May not be on HBo though. As far as I'm aware, only the Licks tour had a show broadcast by that channel.
Showtime, Direct TV etc have covered previous tours |

With so many available dvd boots I cant remember the last time a band tried a PPV in the USA.HBO shelled out big bucks but guess they arent interested in repeats.Who knows maybe a network could do a limited commercial interrupted show..but alas if ABB hasnt sold well how many people would tune in?...(besides the diehards)...But I just dont see it happening...The guys need a break anyway if teh reviews by some here about Glendale are any indication... |

GOD I hope not...that was a HORRIBLE show...not the show itself...but the director of that special, and now 1/4 of my 4 Flicks DVD...should never be able to work again on anything but a wedding video...the camera work was the worst thing ever!!!
When it's free...you can't expect much I suppose...but a PPV or ON-DEMAND should , at least in theory, be alot more promising. |

doubt it, as its a free to air show
Relax..theres 3 months before the American leg ends
It would make sense to have it after the Superbowl as they could use THAT show as a way of enticing potnetial viewers for a PPV concert |

I read somewhere(Shidobeeeeeeee chat, I think) that the Stones will be doing a small venue show in the US next spring. Maybe that'll be PPV. |
