was there at the weekend.
You'll be hard pushed to get anything for less than 4 Euro a pint. About 4 Euro, 30 in the centre would be about normal.
Its not really any more expensive than London, but the bars are nicer and more fun.
If youre going to the Phoenix Park show, its pretty close to the centre of the city. A hotel in the Temple Bar area would be your best choice as it wouldnt be too far to walk plus thats where the best nightlife is.
I see that according to rs.com, Dublin is still in the UK. Theyre only 84 years out of date with that one. I hope their tour coverage is more up to the minute!

The Irish, both orange and green ones, are top-notch, Class A+ drinkers. They can hold their mud, unlike some people we won't mention. |

I can assure you that both orange and green ones were doing some serious imbibing together last weekend. My liver is currently BOTH colours. |

Yes, as I recall, he had significant mud holding problems. He was not Irish or descended from any other peoples that held mud. Mud was not what he could hold. Something he could not hold was mud. Mud? He could not hold it. |

I understand that the ticket price for the Dublin show is expected to be around 75 Euro
The venue doesnt appeal to me, but if I can get down there and home the same night (a 2 hour journey), might be worth doing...

Is Wembley the big new stadium or an indoor arena? |

not really. Many get late licences.
Compared to what England was like up until the licensing laws changed last week, they stay open later |

stadium. When you buy tickets for the grandstand for Wembley, they cant even give you a block or seat number as its not finished yet. They state that the seats will be allocated on a first come first served basis according to the price range you selected
Theres no arena shows on this tour, it seems
Unless they add a few in September |
