Everybody use to talk about Keith or Jagger performances. And about Charlie, what do you like?
I love him in Too Tough, he sounds more than perfect.
I couldn't say if there's any difference or is all the same, anyway I love him in that song...

Yeah its insane coked up music really - I like the way you call it an instrumental break; Keith mashing up his guitar playing all he can when he is smashed - a chuck berry rip off groove! |

Neighbors (Studio version)
Whenever I think of a great Charlie performance I think of that song.
The way he goes from straight thumping beat to that insanely fast drum roll during the sax solo is just amazing. I've often wondered if that was sped up.

yeah thats a great 'un too....I'd overlooked that one.
That whole album has a great drum sound. I dont think theres a better mixed Stones record than Tattoo You (thanks to Bob Clearmountain). Only Some Girls comes close.

can someone tell me if Charlie plays on Slave? I have a friend whose convinced its not him. Anyone know?
Honkeytonk is his shining moment IMO. So funky.
and I'd like to nominate Soul Survivor, Had It With You, You Got Me Rocking, Tumbling Dice, Get Off My Cloud, Emotional Rescue, If You Cant Rock Me, and CYHMK
and lets not forget Satisfaction! |

JOSH!!!!!!! ONE MORE FUCKIN TIME
*I* did not ban gay marriage. were you to actually read something or hear something, you'd know that all 11 states that had this on their ballots turned it down.
so, as usual, since there is no way to have a reasonable conversation with you since you are too much of a chicken shit to have PM or an e mail address, i can only say this to you.....
YOU, OF ALL PEOPLE, YOU RESIDE IN THE STATE THAT MADE IT POSSIBLE FOR DUBYAH TO STEAL THE PRESIDENCY IN THE FIRST PLACE...SHOULD I BLAME THAT ON YOU????
you are an asshole, josh..
