Off-topic from the Stones, can anyone tell me why this guy, Jason Schwartzman, isn't the ONE and ONLY consideration for playing Keith Moon in the upcoming biopic, rather than Mike Myers?

Um, because Mike Myers is a major box office draw, and Jason Schwartzman is a darling of the damned left-wing indie film crowd. So there's a difference of about a billion dollars worth of potential revenue. And chances are either approach to the project would fail artistically anyway.
Mike Myers might've made a good Keith Moon about 15 years ago...he's a bit long in the tooth to do it now, unless they're only making a film about the death of Keith Moon.
Good call on Jason Schwartzman! I could see HIM driving a Cadillac into a swimming pool! |
